QTM doesn't seed the newly uploaded torrent

I tried to upload a couple of files with QTM using the tutorial, everything goes fine, I can even see in the "my torrents" tab my two uploads, but I am not seeding anything. I read that QTM is supposed to start the seeding in utorrent automatically after the upload, but it never happened. How can I find that .torrent to seed? I tried to download the torrent from my torrents but it goes in download instead, and I don't think it's the right thing (it doesnt work either).
