Actually, I think he's stating the opposite...
- it's not OK to call other people names because of their race - whether based on pigmentation or geography...
- someone else doing it does not justify your doing it
- historically, Whites in the US have a HUGE lead on vilifying others based solely on their skin color (though religion does come into play in the US - antisemitism is FAR from dead here, even if most of the Jews are also White!)
- In other parts of the world, racism is based more on regional tribalism (or, as noted above, religion) than skin color...
- people who excuse their own racism based on the presence of other racists are indeed, still racists!

And even if they did say it, and chose to refer to themselves that way, why do you want to say it sooo bad? Stop acting like you're oppressed just because your desire to use a racial slur is frowned upon. You're continuously using and conflating the n-word which, has a racist connotation with a word used WITHIN a community, FOR that community.
There are cultures around the world that have words/language that the people within that community use to acknowledge each other, that someone outside of the community wouldn't use. People seem to understand and respect these cultural differences except when it comes to the Black community, and then everyone pretends to be confused and not understand nuances.

@msoft It's no different from the word "bitch," or "faggot." Women refer to themselves and other women as bitches, but it would be frowned upon if it came from a man. Same with faggot. I hear it used more in the gay community now, but if it came from someone outside of the community, it would deservedly be frowned upon. The n-word (not the one you keep fighting for your right to say, but the other used within the black community) is no different, and it's really not hard to understand.
