Can't use QuickTorrentMaker - no "category" drop-down menu

For a month or more, I've been unable to use QTM (v.1.14, Windows) because I cannot select a "category". The drop-down menu is empty apart from the text "Select Category". Please advise.

Getting fed up of having to scroll through the same posts each visit? When you register for an account, you'll always come back to exactly where you were before, and choose to be notified of new replies (either via email, or push notification).
