I agree with the original poster about the flaws of Onlyfans. My impression is that the performer will post anything just to get you to keep coming. So they will masturbate, for example, in the exact same place 10 times and add 10 separate files. Or they will break up a whole sections in parts spread over weeks to keep you on their site. As someone said, it is not so much a porn site, but more like a hook to keep you coming for more content. Finally, there are some performers that post great content, but there are others that just use it to tease you. And don't get me started on the quality of the camera work! lol. I share the same opinion as you guys but I would like to say that not the performers or OF are to blame but the people who pay the subscription. I cannot believe how comes that people pay only to see someone wanking - no action, no effort, no scenario, nothing at all. Just sitting there in his messy room and masturbating... LOL! I don't take Only Fans that seriously at all and I agree from other posters that the majority of those vids are just solo masturbation videos that are about as dull as Dawn dishwater. Then again, there are some performers that I feel take their content and page way too seriously. For example, not only do they perform their norm, but are also screenwriters and directors.Only Fans is not a studio although I must give credence to performers who want to treat it with some quality without taking it too seriously if that makes sense.

I take it seriously because OF slowly kills all other kinds of sources of porn. The porn quality accross the board is lowering - in terms of actors, in terms of scenario and in terms of abundance.

This is much more valid for extravagant types of porn like bdsm where we can only dream of the times 2009-2017. The Music industry had a COW when people started streaming content, or sharing content on Napster! They warned it was the end of the line for musicians! They'd all starve because people wouldn't pay for albums/CDs anymore!

It didn't work out that way (though it STILL evolving)... but streaming sites pay royalties to artists when people listen to their songs, and by ADAPTING to, and LEVERAGING the Internet, artists today are sill doing pretty damned well!

Porn will adapt! It did when VHS came to market (killing the 8mm film industry), and when DVD came along. Now it's streaming and yes, torrenting... they will adapt, and new ways of enjoying sex and porn will be created...

I agree, nowadays they are even selling all the worth having videos as PPV, the rest are mostly teasers of seconds, that, and this bothers me hugely, are always downloaded in the torrents either way, the amount of ratio you lose by downloading those is appalling.

I agree with a lot of complaints, but at the same time the idea of Onlyfans is really good. Onlyfans allowed more amateur people to do porn, so it ended up producing a few good channels, not to mention the fact that before some of those people would sell individual clips on Clips4sale, etc... making it way more expensive.

But yeah, I don't understand why Onlyfans doesn't have a video compression tool, unfortunately the vast majority of people there don't know how to properly edit and save their videos, which ends up making the files huge, it's ridiculous that you can have a 1080p 2 hours movie in 5GB and look good, but a single 5min videos of Onlyfans occupy the same amount.

And I agree, I don't understand people putting solo masturbation stuff and passing it as content, there are the people who like it, but it pisses me off. It also really irritates me when people put videos less than 1 minute long, like cmon, put a little bit of effort will you? I feel some people do it just to have a large number of videos so people will be more interested.

And about the names, Onlyfans isn't a download site, it's not their problem, complain with the people that download it but don't name it (but at the same time they are doing us a favor by posting it, so....).

They really should have some sort of rating system. Some of the sites are much better than others, but you have no way to review them or know until you buy.

@catbox9 It' so hit or miss, and there's no way to know what comes with a subscription, most of my luck has been a paywall for the right to access their next paywall. But it has proven to be a good way to get someone I know from a different social media platform to make custom videos for me.

I actually don't mind all the solo masturbation videos but the thing that most irks me about these 50+GB OF torrent rips is the vids are often so short or just feature the guy showering or some other mundane thing.

I like the idea of the models making a buck on their own from their "fans" but I'd be super pissed if I paid a monthly fee to watch a relatively handsome guy in a bunch of 15-60 second clips.
