You claim these are LIBERAL caused problems (inequities in spending on illegals vs locals) - yet most of those spending ratios were put in place when Conservatives were in power - and that's true in the UK as well as the US!
Your NY numbers are bogus by the way: they count ALL public health & public assistance money as money "spent on illegals", even though only a fraction of that money is spent on healthcare for illegals. The REAL shame is that some of these first responders - esp teaches - fit into BOTH categories: first responders who ALSO qualify for public assistance, like Food Stamps... that is SHAMEFUL! And BOTH parties are to BLAME for it, because it didn't START with one - both parties have been in power long enough to fix it at some point in the past 40 years!
NOTE: Healthcare is an issue where I am personally, admittedly, liberal: I believe that BASIC healthcare (wellness visits, recovery from serious illness/injury, vaccinations, etc) is a basic human right and not a privilege of and for the wealthy.
Back to our topic here though: Here in the US, the Biden Admin has been UNSUCCESSFUL at passing any MAJOR legislation, save for extra COVID relief! Zip! NADA! NIL! Thankfully, it has turned out SOME of their "moderate" members aren't willing to just throw almost $6T of federal money (debt) out the window and believe it'll solve everything! And their margins are so slim, without those 2 Senators, their massive spending bills are DEAD ON ARRIVAL!
Minority? maybe so, but their majorities are so slim, they have to appease their "moderates" and most left-wing "radicals" at the same time... good luck with that! Herding cats comes to mind! LOL Mind you, NO Republican will vote for ANY of these things - because in today's political climate, you can't vote for something - whether actually good or not - if it might make the other party "look good"... FUCK making the Country look or actually get better... if the "other guys" will get credit (not blame), then you cannot vote for it! Witness this debt ceiling bullshit!
As for your favorite Boogey-Man Fauci, what policy has he ever made that was for Americans but not Illegals?
- He doesn't actually MAKE policy, he recommends policy
- He makes recommendations to our politicians about public health policy - not immigration policy
- Politicians get/have to MAKE the policy... as we've seen from the Trump years, they don't always take the recommendations of the experts!
- Public Health policy (at least in the US) gets applied to everyone. There are no separate rules for vaccinating illegals or legals. There are no separate rules for wearing masks if you're illegal or legal. There are no public health policies about treating illegals, but not legals, when they get COVID.
Finally, you are in Scotland... unless your Parliament has done something REALLY strange, and somehow both seceded from the UK (something many ARE LITERALLY trying to do), and joined the US (not possible without approval from the US Congress - i honestly don't think we'd "take you"... no offense...), then Fauci hasn't made a SINGLE RULE for you, and NOTHING the DNC (much less the RNC) has done in the past 40 years has affected YOU , NOW (currently)!

Illegals get money for a wide range of things.
The head of the NY House of Reps said something like "I wish there was more money, but we ran out" when explaining why, after giving tons of cast for illegals, they cut the money spent on 1st Responders, the military, and their families. This includes those injured in the line of duty.
