Historically, Dems and Republicans alike have been caught with children (broad definition of pedophile, to include 16 & 17 y/o teens)... no party has a claim to being more or less rife with fraud and pedophiles than the other.
It's an imperfect system, but it can't be "fixed" by one person, nor can it be fixed completely - maybe not even ever! But it can be improved upon... THAT is the goal!

The saying "Progress, not perfection is well established... both in science and in recovery from addiction.
Any computer program of reasonable complexity has at least one bug... the point of software engineering isn't to eliminate all bugs from a program - only to remove the ones you can. Eventually, you get it "good enough" that the pursuit of removing more bugs is cost prohibitive.
I'm sorry (for you) if your intellect insufficient to absorb the concept.
