Insurrection: noun. a violent uprising against an authority or government.
So, you're saying the BLM protesters were trying to overthrow the Oklahoma state government? Kill the state's elected leaders?
I'm not defending their actions... but it wasn't an insurrection... and it wasn't on-par with the Jan 6 insurrection in Washington, DC - where the protesters wanted to murder the government's elected leaders!
Just like the MN cop (Chauvin) murdered George Floyd: slowly, methodically, and intentionally. But the other MN cop (Potter) did NOT murder Daunte Wright last month.
True, both were black men killed by white police officers... but, one was done slowly, methodically, and unemotionally - intentionally leading to the death of the detainee (according to expert testimony, Floyd was dead for the last 2 to 3 minutes Chauvin knelt on his neck and back!). The other was a split-second decision made by an officer who grabbed the wrong weapon in the heat of the moment.
BOTH will be punished... BOTH are in the wrong. But one is a murderer, and the other is guilty of no more than manslaughter, but likely less than that.
The protests in Washington in Jan 6 may not have started as an insurrection (though it appears that some factions did indeed have that in mind from the start - from the day before even!), but it ended up being that.
The protests in OK City may have started out being peaceful, but it didn't end up that way... but it didn't progress anywhere close to the point of an insurrection
Word choice matters - and choosing the wrong words can turn a factual posting into a propagandized, misleading one.

BTW, "insurrection" wasn't my word, but the word used by OK Capitol Police and several of the politicians.

You are no more "absolved" from misusing the word than anyone else who spouts off right-wing propaganda that they don't even bother to read or think about the meaning of... it sounds good, and it appears to support your cause, so repeat it! Loud and Proud!
I can't speak for you, but you don't see me quoting "talking heads" - not here, not in person, not ever! I think for myself (which, I dare say, is why you find it so hard to pin a label that sticks!)
