I use utorrent and there seems to be an issue with the site. I've tried to torrent a few files today and they don't seem to start one I've added them to utorrent. Is this an issue with the tracker or something on my end? I seem to have no issues with torrents from other sites atm.

There are a few things that can cause this to happen. First, we need to see if you are able to reach the tracker back end. To do this, open the following link:

Does this page open a statistics page, or does the page fail to load?
For that matter, when you open uTorrent, click on a torrent, then click the "Trackers" tab, what is the status message that appears there next to the tracker information?

I've discovered my issue has to do with the tracker thinking I've reached my maximum leeching torrents . Currently I have no active torrent files other than the ones I am seeding and the tracker seems to believe I've got 13 torrents that are also leeching. I order to get the file I was trying to torrent working yesterday I had to stop seeding several torrent files in utorrent

Are you seeding any multi-file torrents that you only downloaded partially? For instance, a collection of twelve videos and you only downloaded eleven? Those torrents will not register as seeding but as leeching, even if you are not trying to download.
This is another good reason for members to avoid uploading large collections as a single torrent. Anyone who downloads only part of the torrent will lose a download slot as long as they seed.

You're correct.
To be honest in all the years I've been using this tracker this only became an issue a few days ago. 15 download slots is a lot of content to be downloading at one time. That said I have noticed an increase in muti-file torrents so I think you're on to something in thinking they're some times more trouble than they're worth.
