Tracker - could not connect
-
Dear all,
I have an issue for the past few weeks. The tracker does not seem to be connecting over my VPN (unless I remove SSL from GT Profile). I do not have similar problem with any other trackers. Tried many countries both in EU, the US etc. but still the same. Changing DNS to various ones makes no difference. The Website is accessible with no problem.
Using the Synology native torrent software.
It applies to torrents downloaded long time ago as well as new ones.
Thanks -

ThanksThere are several other recent threads on this same topic that might help, so search the forum for "VPN" and then sort by "Date Posted" even though the dates aren't shown. (This post should be the first one.)

If turning off the SSL tracker solves the problem, it is likely that your torrent client is choking on the SSL tracker. First, try closing your torrent client and rebooting your computer. If you still are unable to connect with the SSL tracker, you may need to change torrent clients, or simply leave the SSL disabled.
