Messages' limit

Hello!
Is there any limit for messages sent? It's never happened to me. I have been messaging with one friend for a while and suddenly the system tells me this:
"Error
Daily Message limit reached"I receive messages, but I can't send messages. I didn't know there was a limit. In any case, I think I have exchanged around 10 messages more or less… are they so many to have reached a limit?
Sorry for asking. Maybe the answer is somehwere else but I can't find it.

This limit was first put into place due to users who we had who were mass spamming literally EVERYONE. Unfortunately, no system is perfect and some messages that should be getting through cannot due to this security upgrade.

your limit raises every day of membership until it reach 100 which is the maximum per day.

I had never reached 100 messages when I got that message saying "Error. Daily Message limit reached"… I guess it was a problem with the system that day...
