Who is getting my seed points?

I have had a very odd issue with the last few files I've uploaded. Shortly after starting to seed the file, the tracker shows 1 or 2 seeders besides me. Although I've set my upload speed to the highest limit, my upload speed is very slow. Then, after a short time, my seeding stops.
The lastest example is that shortly after uploading a 667mb file, is has been snatched 9 times, but I have uploaded (according to the uTorrent tracker) only 130mb and my ratio for the file is 0.189.
I am an admitted idiot about how torrents work, and who is also seeding a file from a torrent I created. My biggest concern is that the very low ratio rate is going to affect my overall ratio here. If that is the case, then why upload?
Any advice/info/help would be greatly appreciated

It could be that you're uploading files that other seeders may have retrieved before from somewhere else (another torrent, tracker, etc.).

btw I just noticed your stats; you're doing great, with that much upload done over time, it would take a lot of downloading to really affect your ratio.
Also, if you're just uploading, it can only improve your ratio, even though the ratio for a single file may be lower than your overall ratio. -
