HOAX - Actor fakes hate crime

Based on what we already know, I'm gonna call this; Jussie Smollett lied and faked the hate crime.
The "incident" happened in an area that has lots of CCTV. However, the police can't find any video of the attack.
45 minutes after the incident, when the police arrived, he still had the generic laundry line around his neck.
He later claimed the crap about MAGA in a media interview. He never said anything about it in the first 2 police interviews.
He refused the ambulance and had his friend (lover???) drive him to the hospital.

I used to work in the area and nearby. I still have family and friends that live/work in the area. They said the amount of CCTV has only gotten worse since I left. I can't believe that the incident wasn't recorded.

And that camera system doesn't have blind spots/angels so that it's not possible to commit a crime without being recorded? Amazing.

It's possible, though doubtful. The area is extremely well covered by CCTV.
Besides, the story doesn't make any sense. Let's not forget that his story has "evolved" as the days have passed and the more interviews he's done with media.
Also, fake hate crimes are rising. Nathan Phillips has been proven a liar, thanks to the nearly 3 hours unedited video.

The 2 men ??? the police were looking for because they were caught on CCTV in the area, well, it turns out they left the area at least 15 to 30 minutes before the attack could have happened.
Not looking good for Smollett.

It's being reported that he's not allowing the police to look at his phone records from the time he got the threat in the mail and when he went to the hospital.

If I'm not mistaken, Matthew Shephard was killed by other gays in a drug deal gone bad. Why do people pull these stunts thinking that they're advancing the cause? Jussie is a disgrace for what he did. He makes us all look bad.

FROM MEMORY, one of the killers said it was a drug deal gone bad.
There was a lot of speculation that it was a gay "thing" that went "bad". This came from the usual homophobes trying to deflect from it being a hate crime.
