Credit Card declined

I live in India. I tried to donate via card (this is my first time ever trying to donate) but no matter how many times I select "Pay" in the Stripes page I get an almost blank screen with a "The card has been declined" message. I don't have a BTC wallet and I don't know much about bitcoin anyway so I want to avoid that option. Is there a more direct way I can use the card to pay? I really want my ratio restored, thanks.
Btw the Stripes page is accepting the card just fine. I shows a checkbox and everything. The screen with the declined message comes after that. Really appreciate any help I can get.
