Tried it with 3 different sites, when I click to save the torrent, it says Done, and the torrent file is saved in My Documents, which is where I like to save my downloads with Firefox, hotfile, etc.

If I click on that file, it opens the Dialog Box in uTorrent that shows what I'm going to download and the options (ie, if there are multiple files, I can choose which to grab).

Why this unnecessary step has started is beyond me.  It used to be, the Dialog Box opened automatically without this extra step.  I reinstalled uTorrent completely, checked options within uTorrent and nothing works.

You mean you don't want µtorrent to open the dialogue box for you to choose which files to download, correct ?

If so, there is an option the Preferences under the Downloads tab which says "Show a window that displays the files inside the torrent" - uncheck that so that the torrent goes directly into the list.

Or did you mean you want the torrent to start directly in µtorrent without being saved in My Documents ?

In this case, when you click the torrent to download choose the option "Open with" in Firefox when it prompts you on whether you want to save or open.

        Dear Lord, I pray for:
        Wisdom  to  understand  my  man,
        Love  to  forgive  him,  and
        Patience  for  his  moods.
Because,  Lord,  if  I  pray  for  Strength,  I'll beat  him to  death !

Do you use a "download accelerator" program or your browser's download function?

In my browser (Opera 10.61) I can configure to save downloaded torrent files directly to a folder on my LAN - a folder which is "observed" by uTorrent automatically. This way I can download torrent files, click on save in Opera's open/save dialog and the rest is done automatically by uTorrent (on another computer in my LAN). Chalk it on my laziness that I selected this solution - it works OK for me for 99,… % of all my torrent downloads. It is a rare case when I have to work "manually" for a torrent download 🙂
