I'm spiritual but not religious with doctrines.
Mankind is just too selfish a creature to share anything worthwhile.

My family and I are spiritualist (I'm not sure if this is the right name in English though) and we believe in spirits independents from the body they are living in right now, so it means there is no "men" or "women", there are only souls and they are actually bigger than any "gender tag". I personally think it's very beautiful guys. All my relatives and regional "religion leaders" were 100% okay about me comming out because we tend to see body limitations as something temporary.

What really matters is that you love people and do good things for the world, sex is just a small detail. That's what I believe in

I know some Spiritualists in Canada.  Are you from Brazil?  (All of them are.)

Not that religious, but I am Christian.

I however do not make a big deal about it.

I respect and I am open to anyone of any religion or lack of religion.

More and more mainstream christian denominations are wrestling with the sexuality question and have (at least some form of) per-congregation choice.  I'm a member of a United Methodist congregation who have basically said that orientation is irrelevant.  (I used to be a member of an American Baptist congregation who had similar opinions, and I know of many other individual congregations who do likewise.

If you look hard enough (meaning that it's important enough to you to do so), you should be able to find a congregation to suit.

Of course, I'm in a "blue" city in a vast "red" state, so my experience may not be universal.

I'm surprised I haven't answered this question. I am gay and am relatively religious. I used to be much more so while I was working within church communities, but have toned it down since I left a conservative denomination and started being more active with affirming ones.  I still maintain my progressive Christian faith (with a hint of other esotericism) and practices. LGBTQ people of various faiths are becoming more emboldened to come out, while still retaining their faith, even if it might mean switching affiliations, or going at in on their own until they find or recreate an affirming religious community or family.

hum.. what does being religious look like? I mean I attend mass, and I like to say that im the Mary Magdalene of my family….I'm a slut hanging out at Jesus' feet.

Could you clarify?  A lot of Protestants are now calling themselves "Orthodox" without being members of any of the Eastern Churches.
