It is a very easy prediction that Trump will do absolutely nothing about NK as a result of the missile test over Japan. They will go begging China and Russia to agree to more ineffectual sanctions at the UN. They will make stupid speeches at the UN Security Council, and zip.

After all, the US knows that an attack on NK means that 20 million South Koreans living just across the border in Seoul will come under immediate attack from NK's massive array of artillery and rockets which could never be neutralised before massive loss of life in SK.

Just because NK is a "brutal dictatorship" at least according to US based MSM, it doesn't follow that they don't have the right to defend themselves from US aggression.

The US regularly flies nuclear armed bombers close to their borders and sails nuclear armed warships and submarines off their coast.

How many countries has NK attacked in the last fifty years? Zero. How many countries has the USA attacked in the last fifty years? 67.

Which is the only country to have ever used nuclear weapons against the civilian populations of another country?

NK, backed by China and probably Russia, have effectively neutralised US power and aggression in the region. They have successfully made the USA look pathetic and Trump look like a maniac.

It's bad enough when someone posts false comments.  It's intolerable that once they are corrected, they repeat their false comments.  I think you should go find another hobby other than to post misinformation in this group.
Some people in this group sometimes post OPINIONS or SPECULATION which is fine.  But what you are doing is posting blatant false data.

Let me go over this again.  You are claiming that attacking North Korea would result in an immediate attack on Seoul, killing 20 million people with artillery shells and rockets.  Not that many years ago, Hezbollah in Lebanon launched rockets into Israel 24/7 for over a month - resulting in about 800 deaths.  Your estimation of the lethality of artillery and rockets is wildly exaggerated.  In WW2, the nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki killed roughly 100,000 people in each city.
        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_bombings_of_Hiroshima_and_Nagasaki

The population of Seoul is 10 million people, so it would be quite a feat to kill 20 million people in Seoul.

But beyond that… lets just assume that you are correct, even though you are completely wrong.
NK has been at WAR with South Korea since 1950 (67 years ago).  They are still at war, and currently in a state of "cease fire".  NK was allowed to build this massive stockpile of artillery and rockets that you are so fixated on.  Now, NK has developed ICBMs that can reach anywhere in the USA, and also they have developed nuclear bombs.  At what point is someone supposed to attack NK to stop them from nuking NYC?  or Los Angeles?    Do you think NK is suddenly going to say after 67 years  "oh shucks!  we was only teasing!"

As for NK having the right to defend themselves.  Nuclear weapons are not defensive weapons, they are offensive.  No nation on the world has used nuclear weapons since learning how dangerous they are for decades after their use because of radioactivity.  It is in fact illegal for North Korea to be developing those long range missiles and nukes.  You don't seem to be aware of that.

It is of course a well known facts that the population of the Seoul Capital Area in range of NK conventional weapons is 20 million, as can be easily looked up online of you happen to have such limited general knowledge.

It is amazing how Americans are in such ignorance of general facts and then so vehemently deny them. For example, most Americans believe that their military strength is somewhere in about "balance" with other superpowers. In fact, US military spending is equal to the sum of the next 13 largest spending countries in the world. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Top_ten_military_expenditures_in_$_in_2013.jpg.jpeg#file)

The very next question that would occur to anyone of intelligence not in immediate denial of this facts, is why such a huge imbalance? And with a war machine economy so dependant on its military industry, what does it need to do to its population in order to sustain it?

The answer is the manufacture of enemies.

Seoul has slightly over 10 million people.. not 20 million.  This is Seoul's OWN WEBSITE:

The US pays so much in military arms because like we see with NATO, the UN and everything else, the US has to pay for the rest of the world.

India needs welfare because they refuse to spend their money on welfare for the "untouchables" so the UK has to pay for it.

Yes I know you have trouble reading, but I clearly said "Seoul Capital Region". If you are capable of understanding a simple wikipedia page, you can look at the side box where it specifies the population: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seoul_Capital_Area

                Population (2016)
                • Metro[1] 25,514,000

Also, when we are talking about "in range of conventional weapons", most people with the minimum of intelligence would understand that to mean a geographic region, not a set of postcodes.

The Seoul Capital Area houses about half of the country's population of 51.44 million people

Though one person who does agree with your 10 million figure but not with your laughable and spectacularly ignorant assessment of the capability of conventional weapons is your hero Steve Bannon, when he said in an interview just before Trump fired him:

"There’s no military solution [to North Korea’s nuclear threats], forget it. Until somebody solves the part of the equation that shows me that ten million people in Seoul don’t die in the first 30 minutes from conventional weapons, I don’t know what you’re talking about, there’s no military solution here, they got us."

I suppose you should call him up and give him your "part of the equation" since your are clearly much more of an expert on the subject than anyone in the White House advising the president.

I don't think we will have to  wait long to see who was right about Seoul.. because North Korea will be attacked sooner rather than later.

It's also possible Bannon simply was throwing Kim off his game while the US develops its plan to strike hard… You don't know. Neither do any of us.

                              No wait!

A force of US bombers escorted at a very safe distance by fighters from South Korea and Japan have dropped bombs!

Oh, they dropped them on South Korea… and rushed the video out to the MSM.

                              Decisive action at last !

Since your silly prediction 9 days ago that NK is "about to be zapped":

                                  1. NK has launched a ballistic missile over northern Japan.
                                  2. NK has unveiled a miniaturised H bomb able to be fitted into a warhead.
                                  3. NK has tested a H bomb.
                                  4. USA has made idle and pathetic threats and argued that NK is "begging of war" at the UN. A statement rejected by the world.
                                  5. Putin has rejected US calls for more sanctions calling them useless and that NK would eat grass rather than give up the right to DEFEND ITSELF from US aggression.
                                  6. China has said that it will not allow war and chaos to break out on the Korean Peninsular, strongly rebuffing Trump's threats.

                                      These statements are pure fiction.

                                      4. USA has made idle and pathetic threats and argued that NK is "begging of war" at the UN. A statement rejected by the world.

A statement rejected by the world??? Are you freaking serious? They flew an ICBM over Japan!

Putin has ordered an evacuation near the border. The total non-sense that you are stating is unbelievable!

Everything you said just shows that the time to attack NK is getting closer and more necessary all the time.

                                        1. NK has launched a ballistic missile over northern Japan.
Japan will demand that NK be stopped and do it themselves if they have to.  They are not going to sit around and wait to be nuked.  They have the technology and manufacturing capacity and money to crush North Korea
                                        2. NK has unveiled a miniaturised H bomb able to be fitted into a warhead.
an H-bomb is far more complicated than an atomic bomb.  An H-Bomb uses FUSION rather than FISSION.  However, since they CLAIM it is an H-Bomb, that makes it even more imperative that we attack NOW
                                        3. NK has tested a H bomb.
Doubtful, but they certainly made a very big BOOM BOOM
                                        4. USA has made idle and pathetic threats and argued that NK is "begging of war" at the UN. A statement rejected by the world.
No country with any credibility is supportive of North Korea
                                        5. Putin has rejected US calls for more sanctions calling them useless and that NK would eat grass rather than give up the right to DEFEND ITSELF from US aggression.
Putin is correct, which means further negotiations are a waste of time and dangerous.. the time to attack is NOW
                                        6. China has said that it will not allow war and chaos to break out on the Korean Peninsular, strongly rebuffing Trump's threats.
China says a lot of things.  China's economy is currently going into the toilet.  Their economic boom ended and their economic strategy failed.  Trump is now saying that the USA will cut trade with any country (China) that trades with North Korea.

It's time to bomb the bejeezus out of those forces. I'm ok with going to war with North Korea. They are out of their damn mind if they think they are going to threaten us with EMP bombs. The only problem I have is that they are not run by a Rothschild-owned bank. It's a lose-lose. Kim is nuts and must be dealt with. We need to kick his ass. He is asking for it and acting like we couldn't kick his ass. We don't play. We kill you. Kim is done. He is a threat to Russia, South Korea, Japan, China, the United States and he must be taken out. I don't care if he isn't a Rothschild bank player. He is going to die. Unfortunately that is just the way it is. He is committing suicide and that is his choice. He will not threaten our way of life and tell us he's going to destroy us and get away with it. War is not something we take lightly, obviously, because he has been given many opportunities to be peaceful, and he only wants to kill us. He does not realize how powerless he is because we have been pussy-footing. I hate saying it, but he is totally finished and this has escalated into a final resolution that will come to an end in a very short time.

Buh-Bye Kim. Unless you beg on your knees. That's just how it's gonna be.

                                            S t i l l  w a i t i n g  . . . . .

(Amazed how clueless Americans really are.)

Interesting you mention the Chinese economy. I have a colleague who's area is using AI in economic modelling and forecasting. He mentioned two interesting things.

                                            1. How Trump's actions have increased the downside risk in the US economy by a factor of 50. Some minor decisions that I had never even heard of, something about mortgage insurance, have hugely increased the risk of the US economy crashing. And the moron Trump thinks he can start a trade war with China. hahahahaha. Next week he will probably appoint some right wing nut job to the central bank.

                                            2.  The other interesting thing is the extent to which other world economies have decoupled from the US even over the last few months. When Trump crashes the US economy, sure there is a risk of world recession, but economies like Japan, China, India, Brazil, Europe won't be as badly affected as in the GFC. The US can pretty much crash and burn and everyone else will just walk away.
