I'm a fan of "whenever the mood strikes me," so usually it ends up being before I go to sleep, but at least a third of the time, it's in the morning. And frequently, it happens in the afternoon. I tend not to finish if I do it while I'm getting ready to sleep, which I don't mind terribly, edging is its own kettle of enjoyment, but if I wake up with a ridiculous hard on in the middle of the night and I'm in the mood, you can bet I get off then.
