I guess it depends on what one finds erotic. For me, the most erotic part of sex is feeling another guy's hand on my penis while we are kissing. In the very early days, just having another guy hold my penis within my pants was enough to set me off.
When I had sex with women, penetration was OK, but it wasnt the best part of sex, so I guess I never felt the need to insert my penis in anything.
And as for rimming, I find that the thought of the (possible) smell + the knowledge of all the gut bacteria very effectively nullify any erotic element to it. I can see where you're coming from. I didn't study medicine but I had some classes like biology or virusology and I had to analyze all kind of weird bacterias. After few months of observing them through the microscope I got a phase that I literally saw bacteria and bugs everywhere. It disgusted me. But even though I'm aware of all that things I just don't find ass disgusting. So I wouldn't bet on that. Obviously - I'm not gonna lick randoms guys ass because that would be yeah… pretty risky ?
