This wrings my brain. So here is my attempt to rationalize the ad. (I must say, however, that I had initially mixed the religious bias with the seeming contradick-tion of homosexuality.)
Condoms protect. Got that. But the picture shows what might be a couple. That is, do we know if they are long term? Unknown. Other than that, condoms help our community. Reinforces "We believe in caring for each other." Acceptable to preach, I suppose.
The thing that got me, though, was "We believe sex is sacred." Is that paradoxical to the use of condoms? Wouldn't that mean short term relationships are not supported by the group? So why would a long term couple need condoms??
Okay. I had hoped to come to a revelation by the end of this post, but nothing came. I think I just confused myself further. Whoops.

Perhaps this is a subtle way of telling us " OK so you are queer, at least don't get the demon seed inside you." Since there is no possibility of pregnancy this is indeed a paradox.

If you look at their numerous media ads, there are certainly many str8 ads.
I chose this particular one when I started the thread because I, too, saw the paradox.
