Uploading Etiquette Question

Hi Guys
This is the first time I have uploaded to a site and just wanted people's opinion. Do you think that uploading to 150% is acceptable? I am trying to manage my list and am finding my ratios are 1.5 to like 1.8 after awhile and are stagnant at that.
Is it rude, once you see a few more seeders are helping to then remove it from the Utorrent list? And same for downloads, letting them seed to over 1.0 ratio is deemed good or too soon to remove?
I know I will lose bonus and ideally would like a ton of uploads going at once but it obviously impacts my downloading too

The generally accepted practice is to seed an upload until there are at least 3 - 4 other seeders who can help seed it.

I rarely ever get anything to seed any higher than 1.8 anyway. Once there are other seeds it slows down to basically nothing. I think you are fine.
