It's not illegal actually, or at least not everywhere. This is a common misunderstanding, since people tend to confuse the terms of Legal Age and the Age of Consent. Legal age is the age a person needs to reach before being considered an adult; most commonly the age of 18, sometimes 20 or 21. Those two rarely overlap with each other. In many countries actually, the Age of Consent is much lower than Legal Age, Voting Age, Driving Age, or even Drinking Age. In Japan, the legal age is 20, but the age of consent is as low as 13 years old!
So no, it's not necessarily illegal to have sex with someone otherwise considered a minor. It depends on where you live.

Okay, okay, folks. I understand the root of commotion. I just missed to put "with 'their' consent" in my post. Never in my life would I imagine to force someone to have sex with me, either younger or older than me, because I'm too hot just to resort to such pursuit.

In the UK around 2003-05, they changed the law so that ANYONE who has sex with a person under the age of 16 is a pedo, even if both people are under 16.
Not surprisingly, this law only seems to apply to boys, even if they are the younger of the pair.
