In the UK around 2003-05, they changed the law so that ANYONE who has sex with a person under the age of 16 is a pedo, even if both people are under 16.

Not surprisingly, this law only seems to apply to boys, even if they are the younger of the pair.

Legal age is the age a person needs to reach before being considered an adult; most commonly the age of 18, sometimes 20 or 21. The Age of Consent is "the age at which a person is considered to be legally competent to consent to sexual acts, and is thus the minimum age of a person with whom another person is legally permitted to engage in sexual activity" (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_consent). Those two rarely overlap with each other. In many countries actually, the Age of Consent is much lower than Legal Age, Voting Age, Driving Age, or even Drinking Age. For example, in the Czech Republic, you are not allowed to vote or drive, or marry without parental permission below the age of 18, however you can have sex once you become 15. In Japan, the legal age is 20, but the age of consent is as low as 13 years old!

So no, it's not necessarily illegal to have sex with someone otherwise considered a minor. It depends on where you live.

As someone said, not all underage sex is pedo in a technical/ethical sense.    Most cases of underage sex are with both people being underage.

I get the initial reaction by some to this thread- but it did get me to thinking…a lot of the discomfort of people comes from an older guy 'taking advantage' of an underage dude. But what about if both parties are underage?

To answer the question posed here- I would have to say at the age of 14 I was getting into a lot of experimenting. I had a friend- who was just a classmate that became someone who I messed around with and eventually became my first I guess boyfriend of sorts. We were both 14-15 and we did a lot of stuff together.

The OP should consider taking out the "and below" option since it's the most problematic. And presenting his question in a less creepy manner to not be so incendiary, (if he's really interested in exploring this question more seriously).
Or if he is seriously looking for someone underage to 'dominate' he should reconsider and get some help. There's a reason why there is a minimum age of consent. And domination fantasies between consenting adults is one thing, but not if one side isn't capable of making a proper decision.

So asking in the poll if people have had sex with people aged 14 or below wouldn't incriminate someone even in the UK for having underage sex. Me thinks you could be wrong there bud. Also you don't think that is unsavoury an adult in their early 20's having under age sex with someone of 14 or younger.

I know that kids experiment and I'm sure many of us on here will have experimented with people of a similar age when under the age of 16.

It's the lower ages in the poll that concerned me and made me wonder what experiences the person was hoping to hear back about from other folk.
