Not clear on this- if it means giving up social life meaning friends/family- in person,, but I get to maintain other contact- ie internet/online connection. Then the answer is yes. But if it means all forms of contact and live as an isolated hermit- then no.

Sure why not. If I was under general sedation during the hand cutting and didn't feel it. Even if I began to hate the hook, I can just use the money to buy a prosthetic arm lol.
