Uploading the same video in a better quality

I need to ask about this as I've never done it before.
There is a video that is in a horrible image and sound quality on the site. I have that video in a much much better quality. Should I go ahead and upload mine anyway? Wouldn't it be marked as duplicate? Or is there a specific thing to do here?

Files in a different format and/or size (a difference of more than 10%) are not treated as duplicates.
Do a search on 'Scandal in the Vatican' for instance, to see
