Queer or gay?

Are guys kissing each other queer or gay?
The words queer and gay are used so much nowdays that many believe they are interchangeable, if not synonymous.
But is that really true?
What do you suggest?
Does that apply only when the guys are kissing or is it also true when they are fucking? One the other! ;D
In any other case?

The two guys could be either. If they are just interested in Kissing, and being "Bros", then they are most likely just Queer. If they want more, then they are more likely to consider themselves Gay.
Queer, in modern terms, is more the same as Metrosexual, except they do express some interest in the same sex. There is an attraction, but it is limited in scope.
Twenty or so years ago, the terms were more interchangeable. In the 90's, Queer was more an expression for anyone outside of the main stream. It was typically recognized in the same way that LGBT is now. The problem arose, when some began to believe that it was a negative label, referring back to the older meaning of "odd", "different", or more often "insane". This was partly due to the association with HIV/AIDS that was occurring at the time.
If I am following correctly, in the later part of the 00's, the new generation reclaimed the term, and rebranded it. So over the last 5 to 10 years, it has once again become a term for the border. It also over the last couple of years has come to be more associated with the Gender Fluid movement, though where that will lead is anyone's guess. -
I'd say gay.

I think "queer" used to apply more (if not entirely) exclusively to gay men and drag queens in ~50's-70's (probably much earlier, even). But it's become and remained sort of a catch-all term for "non-heteronormativity" (which includes gays) since then. These days, it seems to be even more nebulous and open-ended, what with kids today cooking up new labels and "identities" for themselves every week (anything in an effort to be "different" or "a minority", because then they don't have to hate themselves as much for actually just being boring, middle-class honkies). "Queer" has effectively become a meaningless, generic descriptor for "not straight and/or cisgendered".
Which is fine, don't get me wrong. I have no desire to stake a "gay claim" on it. I've always hated the word "queer" anyway.

I think gay is for everyone who likes beings of their own sex, and queer is a man which behaves feminine. I consider myself being bisexual, but no queer.

I'm pretty much with you. It's a terrible word and I am highly annoyed we are suffering through its resurgence. Thankfully it will only last for another two or three years at most and then get thrown out again, at which point we will all be embarrassed when we read articles written at this point in time.
These things go in cycles. Cycles created by internalized homophobia. Every new coming of age generation expresses their internalized homophobia by creating all sorts of new labels. None of which last, as everyone eventually settles down into normal LGBT identity. But it is annoying every single time I have lived through it.

I'm from the generations, as mentioned in a previous post, where "queer" was nothing but a hate-filled word. I can't stand that word.

Maybe I'm an alien, but I don't find anything wrong with the word queer.
