      @SemenDemon:

      @mike4612:

It turned out that not only men but also lots of women seriously hate to accept a woman jumping ahead of them.

That is the biggest load of crap and you know it (it's even contrary to what you said before this in your own post). So is basing votes, particularly in presidential elections, on completely irrelevant identity politics.

She lost because of how undeniably corrupt she is, and how far-reaching her corruption and lies were exposed to be. That was her downfall. Gender had nothing to do with it. You think I didn't think to myself, in spite of all her corruption and ongoing scandals, "Wow, how cool! First woman president!"? A lot of people did. That was her big selling point, pathetically enough. But that is not why you elect someone to the office of President of the United States, FFS.

At any rate, I think I've had my fill of going around in circles with literally everyone about this election and politics in general for the next 6 months, so I'll fuck off now.

Good!  See you in 6 months.
By the way, I stand by my comment men(hetero) and women(religious/docile) don't like to see a strong and smart woman jumping ahead of them in an extraordinary way.  It is just the way society makes them think and behave.  But Democrats played the gender card with Hillary also, and they lost it.

Hillary lost because of because of identity politics; ie feminism, BLM, SJWs, etc etc, etc.    Almost no one who voted against her cared that she is a woman.

            Social Justice Warriors.

They are the ones demand "safe spaces", "trigger warnings" and all manner of stupidity.  They claim that words like feminism is exactly as it is in the dictionary, but other words in the dictionary are wrong because the dictionary is an evil part of the patriarchy.  This is the dictionary fallacy.

They are the ones that scream claiming that Yale University is a home, not a place of learning.

They are the ones that literally, and out in public, shit on Trump signs and rub the shit in with their hands.

They are the ones that claim that there are an infinite number of genders or that genders do not exist.

They are the ones that blame everything on white people.

They are the ones that claim that only whites can be racist and only men can be sexist.

The list is endless.  Basically they are the freaks of society.

Yeah sure, if you want to massively caricature other's beliefs, we can all do that:

              Trump supporters -

They are the ones who voted for someone who insulted the parents of a dead soldier, for someone who said it was McCain's fault he was captured. Trump supporters are unpatriotic.

They support a guy who doesn't understand judicial independence, or the that a free press is a bulwark against tyranny. Trump supporters don't support the constitution.

They support a candidate who admires autoritarian leaders and when Russia breaches US security to influence and election do not care. In the 50's Trump supporters would have been called unamerican.

White evangelicals http://www.pbs.org/wnet/religionandethics/headlines/poll-personal-immorality-not-disqualifying-elected-officials/ believe that a candidate's messy personal life should disqualify a candidate from office in 2011, but when it's their candidate they change their minds quickly. Trump supporters are hypocrites whose belief in 'family values' is now openly a ruse to intimidate and undermine those who are different to them.

See: it's easy to spew ad hominems and join you in a race to the bottom. I don't believe any of this is true about the majority of Trump supporters.

And anyone posting on a gay message board ought to reconsider using a phrase like "freaks of society", matey.

Anyhow A LOT of people have a vile opinions , and i think Should watch their words when speaking in public , since it's action and reaction .

No need going on the street and say "yeah jews are such and such , Muslims such and such , gays ..etc …etc .
and then complain when people get offended or Thinking low of them .

It's non-stop news coverage in my household presently and I have become numb to all the pundits and interviews about Trump's progress to date. As someone who should be concerned about things like his Cabinet choices, it's a lot of information to process. This is basically the best reality television show on the planet (and a pretty fascinating political science experiment). Intrigued about how all those Republicans who denounced Trump will continue forward relationship wise.

Impeachment was mentioned earlier here and It did get me to wonder what it would really take for that to happen? Not saying it should but, I wonder how much of a leash Trump will have if things start to get real crazy.

After that meltdown earlier  :crazy2: pushing forward and having some semblance of faith that Trump will not be a complete lunatic. I am a bit relieved that the rhetoric has toned down a lot. I hope there will be conscious and honest attempts to heal the ever so much more so divided nation.

Doh! Gotta be like Kyle and get off the soapbox and lay off the speeches! Yikes :)

Social Justice Warriors are a joke/slur, because of their own actions.

Universitites are places of learning, not cuddlely homes as SJWs keep claiming.

Safe spaces in this context are places for people to cry and hug stuffed animals because they didn't get their way.  Why do so called adults need a space like this for a lecture they aren't even attending?!

If you (generic use) are too stupid to realize that a degree in social work is going to involve discussing child abuse, then you don't deserve to be at university.  This is why trigger warnings are a joke.  In fact, universities are now starting to ban trigger warnings.

Think about it, a class with 100 students could have 100 different sets of trigger warning demands for the same course work.

SJWs only like free speech when it's their speech, as you showed.

Hillary used her free speech, which is why I hate her.  The same with Trump.   They both have the right to free speech, we do not have the right to silence them.   Yeah yeah, I know some shitholes claim they have free speech, but criminalize speech they don't like, but we are talking about the US.

Of course we could talk about the whole gender issue, where SJWs can't even agree if gender exists or not.  The SJWs who say genders exist claim that there is an infinite number of genders.  On top of this, they have made up a list of bullshit personal pronouns.   In Canada, they are in the process of criminalizing speech, including not using a person's made up personal pronouns.

I agree with this to some extent. I don't think people voted against her because she is a woman. I think they genuinely felt she was corrupt. The wikileaks emails weren't the be all end all, as ALL campaigns discuss strategy like that, but the collusion with the DNC, the sharing of debate questions, etc. It just goes to show how deeply unethical she and her team were. Add that to all we know from the last 25 years of her public service, even if she was NEVER convicted of anything legally, and I can see how people just couldn't vote for her.

Trump is no saint, but he was never vetted by his supporters in most cases, like HRC was. What do people who voted for Trump actually KNOW about Trump? He rarely stated a position without taking both sides of that position.  He'd make statements, and then a campaign manager or a surrogate would come along and try to walk it back. What proposals and policies did he put forth? Not:e proposals have plans, analysis, action steps, targets, dates, etc. "Build a wall" is an idea. So is "Deport illegals." or "Make America Great Again."

What really did HRC in was Trump's killing line that she had been in politics for 30 years and hadn't achieved what she was aspiring to do. Say what you will about how he talks, he connected with an overwhelming majority of people that were actually MOTIVATED to go vote for him. HRC didn't really motivate or inspire anyone. She never broke away from the lesser of 2 evils box/argument, and that isn't enough to get people to actually vote for you if they already think you are corrept.

The only good thing about this whole mess is that I think young people got a wakeup call.  They are the future, but they can not assert control until they start exercising control. That starts with doing your civic duty and voting.  And that means making a real choice between those with an actual shot at winning, not just a protest vote for a 3rd party candidate with no shot at winning.  HRC lost because she didn't connect with women, and the youth vote didn't show up in force like they could have.  Until the young start acting like they are the future and get off the couch, and put down the videogames for a minute, they are going to remain at the mercy of the 70 year old guys with walkers that I saw coming in to darken one bubble and vote straight Republican. That 30 minutes that 70 year old invested, got him at least 2 years of what he thinks he wants politically.  If you didn't/don't vote, that 70 year old just may have made the deciding vote for you. I think many get that now.  Now we just have to get them to see that politics is an every 2 year cycle, not every 4 years.

The Electoral College numbers look like a blowout, but if 150,000 voters in each of 2-3 states had a change of heart and voted for HRC, the results would have gone the other way.

Have you serviced your Dom today?

I think a big wakeup should be that people are sick of these whining, good for nothing brats who insult everyone for their choice. It's those kinds that make the rest of America sick of it. I didn't vote Hillary because she was corrupt, has failed to accomplish much, steals from charity and is just another shill for corporations.
                          I didn't vote Trump cause I didn't like him.
But attacking others for their choice is immature and sad.

When i was in collage 2008  ,there was this teacher who said in order to get good news you need to trick a woman and love her to get the news and he said and i remember this clearly "Rape her when she disobey you " …FUCKING GROSS .

It's quite amazing that young people are still not taking the time to participate and vote, especially since the candidate/referendum/issue being voted on will directly affect them for years to come.

The blame and outrage the youth projected on the many of the older voters after the vote was astonishing. The potential loss of opportunities by UK youth really sucks, but they have only themselves to blame for the future they left everyone else to decide for them. I'd be most upset about losing to ability to freely work in any EU country. I gave up trying to find a sponsor and job in the UK/Europe due to how strict the requirements are.

And that whole idea of re-voting was funny to hear, especially the result of the vote was a big F U to the EU. Amusing at the time as an outsider. The secession of the City of London to save Londoners and single market access was also amusing to hear.

Sidenote: Has anyone else watched South Park this season? I'm just cycling back through some episodes that I remember, and the story arcs seem pretty spot on to how the events transpired. I haven't watched since my DVR was invaded but wonder what they have released episode wise now.

Doh! Gotta be like Kyle and get off the soapbox and lay off the speeches! Yikes :)

Allow me to bottom line where I stand on the whole Trump and "Make America Great Again" thing…. In three simple pictures

Before I do though, I just thought I would ask when you say "Make America Great Again", to what exact time frame are you referring? When women were second class citizens who couldn't vote? To when black people were commonly owned as slaves? Do you mean to the time when gays were often raided, simply for being who they are? (If you don't know what I mean by that one, do a little Google search on the Stonewall Inn, or was it the Stonewall Hotel?) Do you mean the time when people used to be burned at the steak for allegedly being "witches"? Or maybe... Do you mean the time period where Native Americans were slaughtered in the masses in what became the largest, yet least discussed genocide in history?

I just don't understand what anyone could possibly mean by "Make America Great Again"... Please explain this to me.

Now... On to where I stand with this whole thing in three simple pictures...

                                      @chiwut:

Impeachment was mentioned earlier here and It did get me to wonder what it would really take for that to happen?

The answer to that is simple… Trump either needs to be convicted of his pending sexual offense charges involving a minor, OR he needs to get caught pulling a Bill Clinton and getting head in the Oval Office by an intern :lolp:

Basically they are the freaks of society.

Oh, you mean just like gay people are to the far-right, bigoted, hate-filled Trump-supporters.

                                        Spare me your stupidity.
                                        . . .

The main reason I don't like him is…well, look at what he wants to do in the cabinet.  He's playing cronyism with his children, putting them in high places in the government, for one thing.

His running mate is Mike Pence, a man who not only thinks homosexuality is an abomination and brings the destruction of the country, but also that evolution is false, global warming is a hoax, and that creationism should be taught in the science classroom.  This guy makes George Bush look like a saint by comparison.

He's thinking of placing Ben Carson as secretary of education.  Really?  The man that was deemed too religious and superstitious to run for president now might be the head of the department of education?  The man who literally thinks the world was made in 7 days?  The man who thinks homosexuality is not only an abomination, but also a sin that should be capitally punished.  The man who has a theory that the pyramids in ancient Egypt were used to store grain.  This man's not fit to run a hot dog stand, let alone the education of a country.  He's living proof that you don't need to be smart to be a doctor or surgeon.

Newt Gingrich and Chris Christie.  Those names alone should make you feel like vomiting, never mind their absurd ideas and half-wit suggestions.

Trump is going to erase all of the progress in education, civil rights, and civil liberties made in the last 30+ years.  As the Roman Empire fell to Christianity and gave rise to the Holy Roman Empire, so will the US fall to the conservative right.  Let's just hope he doesn't start another era like the christian dark ages, complete with inquisitions, witch hunts, and publicly-funded religious schools.  As an atheist, no other president in history scares me more than Trump.

The first option became invalid a couple days before the election. His accuser dropped the charges and has gone silent. The prosecutor says that without a victim, no case. I find myself wondering whether she was threatened or paid off.
