      @tinci01:

I'm not american. i'm from slovenia but please don't send me black magic or anything else. i was against trump. he sounded so stupid those 3 weeks just like slovene straight guys. everyone else was for him, just because of melania. I actually felt worried for you guys, but today i heard him talking over radio and he felt so different. like he just became new mum. and my friend felt same way, so now i think you just might be ok. give him a chance. he might surprise you. don't burn whole america because of him and don't leave america. we have syrians here already.  :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

Thanks!  I am hoping the same thing.  Surely he is smart and talented, but he brings out the worst from people.
He provoked so much hatred throughout the campaign.  I know politic is brutal, but that guy is beyond madness.
Some of my friends told me to be careful since it looked similar to fascism at the beginning.  I don't really know
much how Hitler acted in WWII, and I will check when I have the time.  But on the last day of the campaign at one of
his rally, I recognized the way he talked was just exactly like the communists.  He said something like if Hillary win,
the system win; but if we win, the people win.

          Great again?
This country elected twice sinister George W Bush, and this time Trump.
Despicable is now definitely the world to qualify it.

considering foreign policy, what's the difference really? usa never ceased to make artificial wars, from vietnam till today. no matter bush, or  obama, the nobel prize for peace laureate.
american foreign policy is neocolonial, acting like a world police just to turn around more money from the military machine.
can you quasyliberals and humanists look in the mirror and say that a proven warmongering harpy from hell that hillary is would be a better choice than someone who at least did not prove himself to be that bad and doesn't have blood on his hands?
do you really believe she sincerely cares for people and human rights when is constantly lobbying for more wars globally?
i'm just glad that she lost because she already showed her real face.
i just can't believe how shallow gay people are to be bought by a few nice words from a proven mass murderer just cause she knows how to sweet talk and can pay gaga and beyonce airheads for support.
just remember that few years ago she was against gay marriage but when the climate in accepting lgbt changed, she jump on a bandwagon.
give me tumps sexism and vulgarity everyday over a sweet talking psychopath.

Umm, someone needs to learn their history.

Vietnam was actually a French war that America got dragged into and France buggered off, leaving the US holding the bag.

Again, read the news. The U.S. House of Representatives is now majority Republican. The U.S. Senate is now majority Republican. He has built a team of such hate mongers as Rudy Giuliani, Newt Gingrich, Cory Lewandowski, Chris Christy, Steve Bannon, Roger Ailes, Al Baldasaro, etc.

It won't be one man. It will be a firestorm of hate.

                    Rainbow flags have been burned.

Homophobic attacks and rhetoric on the increase.

But hey - that's what Trumpsters were voting for - to tell it like they see it - no PC filter.

Americans will be living under a conservative Supreme Court for decades and they deserve everything they get.

Glad Trump won! Loving the delicious liberal tears! Hopefully Trump is able to do what he says, the people will hold him accountable. Shout out to all the people/groups who aided his win Kellyanne Conway (first woman to run a successful presidential campaign), Stefan Molyneux (Based Canadian Philosopher), Alex Jones (Based Conspiracy theorist), r/The_Donald (Based Trump Reddit), and of course the regressive liberal SJWs who pushed the people to the Right.

That's what feeds the right wing - they always have to hate something.

It's been gays, women, Jews, Muslims, blacks, Asians. There's always a target. It seems to keep them going.

Agree with you on this one.  I didn't want to vote for her, but I just remembered how good she used to before she set her eyes on the
White House.  I tried to convinced me that she might just play with the system and act tough because she is a woman.  And I wouldn't miss voting for the first female president, so I did cast my vote for her.  It turned out that not only men but also lots of women seriously hate to accept a woman jumping ahead of them.

When big business and the wealthy started running the country. Voting themselves raises, giving themselves tax breaks, and making the rest of us pay for it.

So you are saying that the US has never not been in a war.

I'm saddened by the fact that you would rather the US not got to war, say like in Bosnia, to end genocide.

Maybe the US should have ignored both WW1 and WW2.

Maybe the US should have ignored the wars where they were invaded by the UK and Spain.

I'm sure the people of Kuwait are happy that the US didn't just sit back and let them be invaded.

I love the way that a week ago Trump was bellowing about how if he lost he would not accept the result, but today he's saying how he was elected "in an open and honest election."

That is the biggest load of crap and you know it (it's even contrary to what you said before this in your own post). So is basing votes, particularly in presidential elections, on completely irrelevant identity politics.

She lost because of how undeniably corrupt she is, and how far-reaching her corruption and lies were exposed to be. That was her downfall. Gender had nothing to do with it. You think I didn't think to myself, in spite of all her corruption and ongoing scandals, "Wow, how cool! First woman president!"? A lot of people did. That was her big selling point, pathetically enough. But that is not why you elect someone to the office of President of the United States, FFS.

At any rate, I think I've had my fill of going around in circles with literally everyone about this election and politics in general for the next 6 months, so I'll fuck off now.

I DID NOT vote for him, but seeing as how he was elected, I'm willing to give him a chance, and see what happens. Mind you, I'm terrified, but I'm ok with waiting long enough to see if he'll stabilize somewhat. I keep telling myself that he was acting in order to get the part…but his entire life's history leads me to believe this was nothing but a power grab. I hope (but at the moment seriously doubt) he did this to help Rust Belters get their manufacturing and mining jobs back. He's spent his life trying to accumulate money and power, and in questionable ways, I might add.  The pure disgust I had originally has now mellowed into a kind of hopeful bitterness. I WANT so badly to be wrong about all the ways this could go south, but I can't help feeling something bad will happen. I mean...I'm hearing whispers of Steve Bannon as Chief of Staff, and it nauseates me. All of the names that have floated up as potential cabinet members...it just reeks of hard right hatred and mob-like thuggery. NOT TO MENTION-- Dave Duke and other white supremacists will probably be knocking at the White House back door expecting some kind of bone to be thrown their way.......YES, it scares me THAT much.

In all fairness, Hillary DID win the popular vote. Literally more bodies voted for her than voted for Trump--of course, due to the Electoral College, and the way the votes are distributed between states, Trump very nearly swept the board.  Additionally, bits of each demographic everyone expected to vote for Hillary (blacks, latinos, etc., etc.) either didn't show up for her on the level everyone thought they would, or defected to Trump completely.  Obama's popularity with minorities just didn't translate 100% to her, and unfortunately I think Dems banked too hard on that.

In hindsight, Bernie totally should have been nominated instead of Hillary, but I think Dems feared he'd have lost to some of the more traditional Repubs in the case that Trump lost the nomination. I think at the time it was Cruz who was closest behind Trump...it was a calculated move that seriously shot them in the foot.

For someone whom is LGBTQ not to realize that and at least agree with how he and his mate have stoked homophobia, and therefore threatened our rights as LGBTQ persons would be the height of ignorance.

Bunch of hillbilly, ignorant, selfish, trailer and mcmansion living white trash his supporters are.

I will work every step to undermine him at every turn.  Just how the Republicans did to Obama.  I wish for him to have the worst presidency in modern times, so that these foolish, ignorant Americans who voted for him will see their error, and REALLY be sorry.

                                            #NotMyPresident #NeverMyPresident

I will work every step to undermine him at every turn.  Just how the Republicans did to Obama.  I wish for him to have the worst presidency in modern times, so that these foolish, ignorant Americans who voted for him will see their error, and REALLY be sorry.

He'll be beaten in 2020 with a less controversial Democrat as an opponent.

He lost the popular vote. Even though everyone who didn't vote for her says Hillary is so corrupt - he still couldn't beat her in the popular vote.

Now that Democrats will experience 4 years of a Republican president, and at least 2 years of a Republican congress, hopefully that'll rally them in the coming midterm and the next presidential election.

He is trash as is his running mate.

Mike Pence is very worrying. He has some very extreme views. Although there are self-loathing gays who don't mind the law working against them, many are right to be concerned about social justice.

There was a leak from the Trump team, I don't know how accurate, that if they won, Trump was going to be the frontman and Pence was going to be the policy man. Scary thought indeed!
