I don't know what has changed in the last month or so.

I used to just leave a window open for GT and it would always work, now it always wants a login.  Worse still it is INSANELY SLOW.  First, I get presented with a login/password.  That times out after about a minute or two (or a lot of frustrated clicking/refreshing) and then I have to put in that, PLUS a multi-digit number captcha.  Sometimes that also fails.  It took several times to log in, and the last time, it took about a solid minute of waiting after going though the captcha.

      What is going on?

I'm a power user, been with GT for years.  This is really annoying.  I'm using Chrome on PC.

When I have been presented with the CAPTCHA it usually means that I am still signed-in from a previous session.

I just ignore that log-in screen and carry on as normal. It's worth checking whether the Welcome back line at the top says [logout]
