Just curious if anyone has their own theories or just tested it out before; but when do you think the best times are that have the highest traffic (most amount of users on)? basically best time to upload a torrent that in general has more downloads compared to others?  :afr:

From my many years of working on this site, I have never really seen a "good time" or "bad time" to upload material. One way or another, it seems to take off within 5 to 10 minutes of upload no matter what time you upload it at. There's usually some horny troll out there who will download what you're sharing somewhere in the world. That's the beauty of time zones.

So… The short answer to your question is the best time to upload a new torrent is anytime that you can seed it for long enough to get it out there fully.

As for the days, Sunday followed by Saturday and a less extent Friday got most visitors.

As for the times, the afternoon to midnight UTC, got most activity.

The difference between the days is around 10%, the difference between day times goes from 50% to 100% (doubles between low to high).

That said, it doesn't really matter much when new uploads are posted, there are always plenty takers. Using low visitor times to post got the advantage that the site responses faster.
