Do you have gay relatives?
-
Not sure. But I have an aunt that never married and has had the same close "friend" for like 50 years that hasn't either.
Bottom line we think she is but we don't care

-
no

Three gay cousins, two gay nephews, and a gay uncle. And I have a sneaking suspicion about my brother.

Wow. Every familiy meeting turns out to be a gay parade?
I'm all alone :blownose: but I hope for one of my six nieces and nephews but they are still young.

I have two gay cousins.
-
Yes I do.
-
None that I'm aware of unfortunately. It would be easier coming out if I had one.
-
someone wrote above, that it might be in the mothers line… dna wise it would make more sense, that whatever combination of genes creates gay orientation is on the dads line, the father is who determines the sex and several characteristics so...
-
i have a bisexual first cousin, a gay second cousin, and a transgender bisexual second cousin once removed
-
I have a gay nephew and I suspect that one of my uncles is gay, even though he is married with a woman.
-
The only one I know of is my older cousin. He hasn't outright stated it to the family yet, but it's obvious because he posts pictures of him and his boyfriend on instagram. I'm considering asking him advice on how to be comfortable with my homosexuality.
-
Not that I know of… :-[
-
Not one! And our family is huge - many aunts and uncles from both sides.
No one from my high school grade was gay either and no one from any job i've ever had.I was the only gay in the village

My dad's sister was a lesbian for 10 years.
First she was married to a man for 11 years and had 3 kids with him (1 died a few days after he was born…messed her up). Then she became a total whore and started banging men at the hospital she worked at behind his back...she even fucked her boss's husband and another married guy she banged killed himself. When the marriage was over she moved in with a lesbian friend of hers from high school. But she didn't sleep with her...she stole this friend's girlfriend. This lover was 3 years younger than me so it was creepy my aunt dating a woman younger than me. That relationship breaks up and my aunt gets this new girlfriend who is totally butch at which time my aunt becomes really butch.
I'm gay but not out to my family. I thought about telling her one day because she used to be my favorite aunt but I confided in her a secret about finding out my grandfather wasn't my dad's biological father (big family secret...oh the drama) and she told the rest of the family. After that came out my grandmother blamed the secret coming out for something my drug addict uncle (dad and aunt's brother) did while drunk (beat up his step-daughter)...so finally I washed my hands of that side of the family. Most of them are dying of medical issues but I refuse to associate with any of them.
My aunt is now back to dating men...part of the reason I never confided in her was that I thought her lesbianism was a fad or a way to piss off my grandparents. And I was right.

My maternal uncle is!
I have heard that the GAY genes run along the maternal lines. My dad wasn't raised by his biological father. I was a little shocked to meet his dad's bio family and learn that his biological father had a brother who was gay that died. My dad already had a lesbian sister on his mom's side (well she used to be a lesbian).
-
I do, and even more than one.
There's an estranged uncle who is banned from the family because of being a scumbag leech.
And I think my cousin who lives in a different country is too. His relationship with his 'best friend' looks a little too intimate to be called one. He's not out though. -
I'm the oldest sibling and I'm gay af, but my younger sister and uncle on my mom's side are both bisexual.
-
a cousin

My best friend refers to my family as a fruit bowl. In my immediate family we have gay and lesbian folks, bisexuals, and trans folks.
