I enjoyed the Insidious and Conjuring movies the past few years.

        @2222:

10 Cloverfield Lane (2016) is actually really good.

Was curious about this film so I watched this film a week ago, and when I saw the body in the barrel, I stopped eating my strawberry ice cream with thick choc and strawberry syrup

Hmm, last two three years… "Good" is so subjective, and depends on what subgenre you enjoy, I guess, but some I enjoyed were (in no particular order):

          Hush
          The Initiation
          The Witch
          The Boy
          Southbound
          Hangman
          The Taking of Deborah Logan
          The Hallow
          We Are Still Here
          Creep
          Unfriended
          It Follows
          The Babadook
          The Den
          As Above, So Below
          Starry Eyes
          The Canal
Housebound (horror + comedy, but not, like, silly comedy. Great fastpaced movie)
          Willow Creek
          Proxy
          Afflicted
          Wolf Creek 2
          Resolution

Gonna watch Green Room now which I've heard is very good.

I really fucking loved "You're Next".  I need mystery with my horror, not just mindless killing, and this film delivered it.  If you don't want to watch the movie AT LEAST go to YouTube and watch the trailer.  It was so great that I found myself listening to "Perfect Day" over and over and over.

The same film company went on to make a "The Guest", and if you haven't seen it, DO SO NOW!!!  I still have sexual thoughts about the titular character.  Sooooo hot!  (He's going to be playing an X-Men character named Legion in the upcoming show of the same name.  It could easily suck, and it kinda looks like it intends to, but I'll watch it just to drool over him.)

You're Next looked a little too bloody for me but on your say-so I have grabbed a copy of The Guest 🙂

Lots of great movies mentioned here, thought I'd add a couple of my favorites from the last couple years-

                  The Gift
                  The Invitation
                  Goodnight Mommy
                  Antichrist
                  Holidays
                  V/H/S
                  Green Room
                  Lights out
                  Ava's Possesions
                  The Woman

                    The Conjuring 2 2016
                    Ringu 1998
                    Ringu 2 1999

Although the last 2 films I've mentioned were made way earlier than 2013, still worth the watch  🙂

Tucker & Dale vs. Evil (2010)

Reminiscent of those “Friday the 13th” movies, but with a comic twist!

(In my opinion, there might be a little more than a “bromance” between those two. :))

A more serious Tucker and Dale vs Evil is The Cabin in the Woods.  It had Thor in it but they didn't exploit him.  Aw.

(Still haven't watched the original IT. Have to check it out soon!!)

The Skeleton Key is a nice psychological thriller.

Go to one of these. There's plenty of the movie you are speaking about. Especially Cyro and tantifilm (mostly in Italian) do not open too many pop up windows. You can stream them.
                                    Enjoy!
