United States. Yes, but people keep to stop it, because legalizing gay marriage takes away their rights some how…

Sadly not in the Philippines, especially on whats happening here I doubt if that would be taken seriously.

nope, and seems like it's gonna stay that way. LGBT is a recent hot topic in indonesia and many people are against it (as it is a predominantly islamic country) and the government is sure as hell on their side. they go as far as banning two males holding hands emoji or any emojis that look slightest bit gay.  😞 😠

In France, it is legal. But we still have a large part of population, mostly in countryside, who are against all form of Homosexuality.

No, in Germany gay marriage is not legal. But gays (and lesbians) can register a civil partnership here.

I know it's pretty sad that I can't say for sure–100% across the board, whether or not it is, seeing as I've lived here forever.

It's just I hear so many little blurbs about this state or that, which I really don't pay much attention to, and currently there isn't any need for my concern.

Guessing…I'd say, for the most part, I think it is recognized in some form or another, depending on the particular state, but I wouldn't be willing to "stake my life" on it. ???

Yes. In Brazil, same-sex marriage was legalized in 2013 by a Supreme Court ruling. However, it is not recognized in the constitution. Gay couples are provided the same rights as those of the "traditional" marriages, including adoption and surrogacy, but some local judges have refused to issue certificates alleging freedom of religion, which forces the pair to appeal.

Nevertheless, the country is a potentially dangerous place for the LGBT community due to its pretty conservative society, inefficient criminal justice system and homophobic police. If the same-sex legalization depended on a plebiscite, it would have hardly happened.
