Sorry if this is a stupid question or if this question has been asked before but I am new to the moderator's world and I was just wonder about something that was asked recently.  Is there a way that gaytor.rent or the programming can make all pictures that are posted to torrents a size that does not take you moving your mouse left and right, up and down just to see what you are looking at?  Some people post very large pic and if the system could resize the picture to an average size automatically somehow.  I know the smaller ones would become grainy if enlarge, put for the larger one can they be reduce in size? Or change the size of the picture that one can upload.  Just asking, I was asked before by a friend, and now I seen a post too and just has me wondering if somehow this can be fixed, changed or something?

Ah yes…. I feel your frustrations with the picture sizing. As I recall, it's a topic that has been much discussed many a times. From what I recall, the system auto resizes images when they're uploaded. How it does exactly I'm not sure, but it's something that currently the user (and mods) have no control over. Maybe it's something worth suggesting in the programming requests section that the system maybe somehow cap out at a maximum size somehow, without loosing the aspect ratio?

Or maybe our geneous programmers could somehow manage to find a way to change the maximum display size of the picture based on the screen resolution of the device trying to view the popup box with the picture? It would be a really great idea. 😄

This is a never ending story. Originally pictures were resized at upload to fit into a 1024x768 window (definition of an old 14" monitor).

However, the resizing algorithm / logic made very high images (above 768 pixel hight) smaller, which lead to complains about microscopic pictures … after multiple changes to it, finally pictures aren't resized at all.
