I was listening to a set of songs, and this one had me deciding to put together a forum post–giving a shout out to California and the Bay Area–surprised, stunned and kind of sad when I started my search for information and material, coming to find that Leon Ware recently passed away.
From his1982 album Leon Ware, “Why I Came to California” is a smooth jazz tune–a duet with Janis Siegel from the vocal group The Manhattan Transfer…
