Taxi Zum Klo (English title: Taxi to the Toilet)
Pretty awesome movie, in fact one of the few LGBT movies that I have enjoyed that much.
I think it's a must see if you are interested in Queer cinema, especially if you take into consideration the fact that it's a (semi)autobiographical movie of the director/protagonist Frank Ripploh. Also, I think the movie is incredibly aesthetic, but maybe that's just me and my weird movie taste. I would not hesitate to give it a 9.5/10 or even a solid 10/10, maybe not as a movie in general but as a queer movie it definitely deserves this.

        The Age of Adaline 2015

A beautiful film about a young mother who stopped aging after an accident in 1937. The result of her never staying in the same place, changing identity and leaving behind a teenage daughter for their own protection.

Even the flashback scenes added to the beauty of the story
        7/10

          Looking: The Movie (2016) 7/10

I'd say its pretty bold for a TV movie but not as bold as [bThe Normal Heart (2014[/b] to download/view/rate/comment this file! which I gave 8/10. Its really entertaining. I like the plot, clever story and good acting, plus beautiful actors. I usually don't really like romance comedy especially gay themed movie, but I like this one. Totally worth it for weekend movie.

Anyway, after watching this TV movie, I'm curious about the series.

Yesterday I watched BEFORE THE FLOOD, a National Geographic documentary from Leonardo DiCaprio and Barack Obama.  On Rotten Tomatoes, I'd rate it an important 95%.  It is (and will likely keep) winning best documentary awards (Oscar, BAFTA, etc.) as it was outstanding and hopeful (if however bleak).  The film addresses climate change and is streaming online for free:

Blake Lively's partner in that film, Michiel Huisman (who also plays Daario Naharis in Game of Thrones) has appeared frontal in one of his earlier Dutch film, Phileine zegt sorry (Phileine Says Sorry) in 2003

                The Reader 2008 _extended version

                8/10

A tragic love story between Michael (David Kross/Ralph Fiennes) and Hanna (Kate Winslet) that started when Michael was a boy of 15 by accidentally puking on the a tenement doorway in which Hanna was one of the tenant.

This lead to their hot but unstable sexcapades until Hanna left suddenly. The next time Michael saw Hanna was (by the time he was a law student and attending a seminar) in the court because Hanna along with other 40ish women are accused of killing Jews during the war and Michael came to observe the procedings.

Old wounds re-opened and it's in the hand of Michael to tell Hanna's secret which will lighten her sentence but kept mum about it.

Next time they met was when Hanna is about to be release, Old and smelling old, Michael process all of Hanna's needs to help her cope up with the world, but it was not to be so.

Uncut dick of cutie German young actor David Kross_

                  The Jungle Book (2016)…7/10! :clap2:

Seeing that I didn't have any expectations, and no real knowledge about Mowgli's story, actually the "Jungle Book" story itself, I really enjoyed it, and much more than I could've imagined!

Yes, the "Jurassic" stuff looks good, but these animals…it's really hard to tell what's "real"...check it out!

I knew of the original Disney cartoon (but never saw it), the names of the characters, the Disneyland attraction, and of course…the song… 😄

Finally got around to watching 'Zodiac' (2007), the movie about the police investigation into the Zodiac killings in California in the 60s and 70s. Really excellent detective movie, highly recommended, all of the cast were in top form (Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey Jnr. and Mark Ruffalo especially). I'd seen the ending of it on TV once and had always meant to rewatch it from the beginning, the ending was just as scary the second time around even knowing what would happen. Really not one to watch in the dark if you scare easily, or not unless you're into that sort of thing 😉

                        Antarctica - A Year on Ice (2014)…8/10 :clap2:

                        In a word…Wow!

10 years in the making, this documentary is packed with stunning images and interesting facts!

Aside from the breathtaking still shots, the use of time-lapse photography brings interest to even the most mundane subjects like the offloading and loading of a cargo ship, or snow building up.

My favorite line–regarding Antarctica and women…

“The odds are good, but the goods are odd.”

                        Trailer and full documentary…

I like the movie. One of the most underrated movie in my opinion.

So, I finally finished watching Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). Awesome! I love the story, the animation and the effects are great, most I love the characters. I'm happily gave it a fat 8/10. I bet for this movie at least for Best Animated Feature Oscar 2017. Totally recommended.

Second, Finding Dory (2016) and gave it 6/10.
I won't say that disappointed, its just the least of what I expected. Finding Nemo came so powerful and history writes that so far no Pixar's sequel can match the original movie. But, its entertaining enough.

Dr Strange, if you are a fan of superhero movies and the comics they come from, then look no further.  If I thought Chris Hemsworth looked and acted like a great Thor, then Benedict Cumberbatch IS Dr. Strange.  Looks like him, acts like him, and the movie plot was awesome.  If you like Marvel movies do yourself a favor and see it, and see it on the big screen as it should be seen.

The Falls: Covenant of Grace 2016

_This is the third and final installment of The Falls trilogy and it's a very wonderful story with a very wonderful ending. The drama and conflict is just right.

To sum the story, there is a Filipino saying "Pagkahaba haba man daw ng prusisyon, sa Simbahan din ang tuloy" (roughly translated - However, the procession seems endless, it will still ends in Church)

The scene after the end credit of the main cast and staff, is exactly the same as the ending scene (before the end credit) of "The Falls" 2012, but then, that's another story  🙂

                                  8/10_

Saw Fantastic Beasts.  Posted the gay angle in the not themed sub section but putting a rating here as requested.

It's better than Strange in terms of magic use so I'd give it a 8.5/10.  The romance was cute but almost childish/childlike so slightly took away from the adult feel I wanted.  It was really good with effects and the story.  Slightly annoyed with Tina but loved Queenie.  Special effects heavy but that's expected.

                                      –-

... it's an adult fairy tale with an adult setting, a slight adult metaphor with discrimination that could be taken as gay (but might not) but Rowling suddenly went for a super simple romance in here.  Not very realistic but very cute, haha.  One of my favorite parts, not the second one though.

On the magic, it's actually got more magical action that Doctor Strange to me, and more than a regular Potter movie too.  I guess American wizards are more free.  Loved it.  Great variety of magical beasts but I'm annoyed that I can't get everything Eddie mumbles about.  Familiar spells are used, which is awesome for Potter fans

A slight downside for me is Newt is so capable and awesome with creatures that it takes away from Hagrid.  To be fair, Hagrid wasn't a very good caretaker for magical creatures anyhow, haha.  No, Hagrid isn't in the movie.

Loved the effects for the monsters, even biggest one.  The music was very manipulative but admittedly very good too.  Hated the guest star but that's me.

Eddie as Newt kept doing this mannerism thing where he smiles but doesn't look the person in the eye.  And he mumbles so I don't get the stuff he says.  He's a good and brave but not much of a personality yet.  His passion is understated.

                                            Strange Days (screenshot attached).

A former cop turned a black marketeer of SQUID discs attempts to uncover the truth behind the murder of a prostitute.
A bit cryptic: may have been developed in more details; the story has a clear moral for a watcher used to cyberpunk literature.
