Hello, I have a question.
Let's say that I invite a friend to the site, but this person never responds the invitation. Will it expire eventually? And if it does so, will I recieve my invitations back, so that I can use them with someone else?

Yes, they expire after a few days and they are lost.
Your friends should look into the spam, especially when using Hotmail, Outlook, Live or Gmail.
Gmail users best look for spam on Gmail's WEBMAIL interface under "Others…" in the left navigation bar.If your friend missed the invitation, write the helpdesk.
