I am not religious at all. I am an atheist and don't believe in any gods or goddesses.  😉

We must not to mistake faith with religion. I have faith in God, in Jesus and what the last said and did. I'm also religious because I follow many interpretations of the Word according to the Roman Church, but "religion" is something that lays on shoulders of men and men are not perfect nor enough strong to hold it without making mistakes.
I don't say I take only the things that please me, but at least I can spot some "discrepancies" between the original message of Christ and some modern behavior…

              Atheist all the way here.

As for religion and homosexuality, I know of none that like us and plenty that hate us.  That has nothing to do with my atheism, it's just the way it is.

We don't need religions to work out how to be good people and get along with one another.  We can be rational and work things out for ourselves if we can shake off the habit of religion.  it requires us to take responsibility for ourselves though and there fewer people ready to do that, than wrap themselves in the security blanket of a higher being who they pray is going to take care of them.

I used to be. That was until I started questioning my sexuality. Then I really started to study and understand my religion. I figured it would be a good idea to read the bible cover to cover. Doing so severed the last string tying me to religion. There is nothing quite like reading a book so clearly full of lies.

Right lol! Thats totally true for me because I guess you could say that understanding it is what killed it for me. It's weird how things can work out like that.

I think there is actually two questions at once: "do you religious?" and "do you believe in god? (or something like that)". I can understand people who respond affirmatively to the second question. People scared by death and nonexistence following after. They found some kind comforting self-deception in afterlife. I can understand them. But who I cant understand that's religious people. How can person believing in ancient fairy tales and ritualism? And why exactly Abrahamic god? Why not Thor, Zeus or Quetzalcoatl? Because your parents believed in that god, that's why.

And my answer is "no" - I'm not religious person and I don't believe in any supernatural stuff like god.

Agnosticism though is the view that, the truth values of certain claims – especially metaphysical and religious claims such as whether God, the divine or the supernatural exist – are unknown and perhaps unknowable..
