Would you date a smoker?

My partner is a smoker.Thank God he smokes just a few cigarettes a day so its not a big problem for me (im non-smoker). He asked me if I want him to stop smoking.I said him : "If you want to stop smoking you will quit it automatically by yourself."
I just love him so much and dont want to inhibit his life. Yes, I`m an easygoing one and can respect my partner. -

but the money, smoking is wasting a lot of moneyExactly, the reason why the graph tapers a little at the beginning is because those who make under $6,000 can't afford buy expensive cigarettes. In addition to that, since they are expensive, it decreases your already meager income.

Meh. Sure smoking is a waste of money but then so are a lot of other habits. I'd go so far as to wager there are stinkier habits that are a far bigger waste of money.

I would date someone who vapes pot/tobacco etc. But smoking pipes hookahs bongs etc, does too much damage to the body and kissing them feels like kissing an ashtray usually so no smoking.

Fortunately none of the non-smokers here will have to worry about dating the smoker in me because I tend to not date guys who have set up boundaries for themselves. Excluding yourself from possibilities be they based on smoking, age, race or any other wild generalizations only limits you.

I don't think avoiding second hand smoke or smoking has limited my life. That would be rather tragic to believe that not dating an 80 year old man or smoking has limited you in some way. Then again, I don't know people's current state of affairs, this could perhaps be an improvement for them.

Yes, and as I stated, I don't feel I am missing out when it comes to cigarettes, cigars, "weed", illicit substances, thrill seeking behaviors and dating chubby, hairy or old people. I am happy you cast a wide net, but for me, I will stick with my fine tuned net. I rarely have to throw my fish back out to sea this way.
