Can't really hate him. For one thing, even with all that silly ink on his body, he's still cute. I never actually have to listen to him unless I want to (see previous sentence). I've never understood why people dislike him so much. Wasting that much negative energy on a celebrity seems silly to me. Sure, in the past he has acted like a brat, and his music is mostly bad, but why do people hate him so much more than most other mediocre popstars?
I don't really have an opinion of him myself, but I do like his butt.
