Can't really hate him. For one thing, even with all that silly ink on his body, he's still cute. I never actually have to listen to him unless I want to (see previous sentence). He's a survivor in a biz that can devour kids and in fact has topped charts again just recently. No mean feat. I mean, where is Jonathan Taylor Thomas (JTT) now, huh? I mean, er, other going to Columbia, Harvard and St Andrews University and graduating and all …. My point -- and I do have one
is that there's also guys like Johnathan Brandis [hung himself]. Getting thru puberty is hard enough. Add fame and sudden money; it's got to be a bit insane. I'll just have to wait for a while to see how Bieber does before I can hate him.:){yes, yes, referencing Ellen}

I've never understood why people dislike him so much. Wasting that much negative energy on a celebrity seems silly to me. Sure, in the past he has acted like a brat, and his music is mostly bad, but why do people hate him so much more than most other mediocre popstars?
I don't really have an opinion of him myself, but I do like his butt.

Ok, I'll admit it, he's fucking cute and it's hard to hate cute, innit? But that means I am barely aware of him as a muscian. Except, if I have this correct, one very strange Christmas vid; I think it might have been Santa Clause Is Coming to Town. It was just … odd. But somehow or another he's managed to, first off, to not die (which is pretty important for anyone expecting longetively, if not success), and, oddly more importantly, remain successful. [Oooh, side-note: Elvis made far more money dead than alive. Blame marketing …?] At any rate, I'll give him lots of credit for some Funny or Die vids, or the Hitler Rants Parodies (yes, Adolph wants the Biebs dead), and, my fave, The Bieb opens up The Daily Show. As Jon Stewart.
