Can't really hate him. For one thing, even with all that silly ink on his body, he's still cute. I never actually have to listen to him unless I want to (see previous sentence). He's a survivor in a biz that can devour kids and in fact has topped charts again just recently. No mean feat. I mean, where is Jonathan Taylor Thomas (JTT) now, huh? I mean, er, other going to Columbia, Harvard and St Andrews University and graduating and all …. My point -- and I do have one is that there's also guys like Johnathan Brandis [hung himself]. Getting thru puberty is hard enough. Add fame and sudden money; it's got to be a bit insane. I'll just have to wait for a while to see how Bieber does before I can hate him.

I've never understood why people dislike him so much. Wasting that much negative energy on a celebrity seems silly to me. Sure, in the past he has acted like a brat, and his music is mostly bad, but why do people hate him so much more than most other mediocre popstars?

I don't really have an opinion of him myself, but I do like his butt.
