Personally, i didn't found it scary.
There might be a few chillers every now and then but that's just about it.I am scared by movies that have a small connection to reality or movies that can be scientifically ambigueus, like alien abductions.

Its not scary, but quite creepy…. because they don't really explain what happen and why the demon want to possess that girl

What is it about? Does it pick up where the last book left off? -
The book sequel is more of a crime novel. The main character is the detective from The Exorcist. It isn't until very near the end of the book that you discover how it connects.

I think it's from Exorcist III a scene with a big scissor. It is still one of the creepiest things that I can remember from horror movies. Also, a scene that creeps me out is the bicycle one from In the Mouth of Madness https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y_x4mc7kQqE

When I was a kid I found Exorcist II: The Heretic scarier but than that could just be because it was so bad…

I love this movie, i watch it all the time
i love how it builds to the climax, amazing movie
but i recommend to everyone read the book, it's superb
