i think swimming makes your every muscle work properly, just half a mile every day or something - for a start

running is cool, but you have to find your own rhythm in that - i like to listen to music while doing my laps for example. another good advice would be to find someone to train with - just to keep you interested and properly concentrated

working out in the gym might be depressing with all those hunks and show-offs around. but if you find a fitness club (with a gym) with an extended offer for women, don't hesitate to go to the gym instructor and just ask for a good set of exercises for beginners, he will understand your needs better than average post-military-killing-machine-of-a-coach and will help you find your way.

results come not that fast as you could wish, but after several months you look into your mirror and suddenly… wow, that's me!
        good luck 😉

I go swimming once a week. I do not take the bus for 5 stops, which means that I walk at least 20 minutes a day, and another 20 minutes when I come home. I usually stand on the public transport means (you burn more energy when you stand than when you sit). I do yoga for at least 20 minutes every evening.

my best advice for you is to do push ups and set ups 3 times a week. of course you'd have to be more carful of what you eat.

don't force yourself to walk if you don't like it but it sure could help you get there faster.

if you are a lean guy, you should be able to notice some differance in a short time. do what ever trainging you do as long as you feel that you are moving your body and you are using your muscles, it will be alright

Sex is not the answer.  Sex is the question.  "Yes" is the answer.

I do 150 Push ups and 300 Sit ups before I go to bed. Every other day I play competitive soccer with a club team for 2-2.5 hours. At the gym I run 4 miles give or take.

In all honesty not many people have time for that, so I suggest just having a good 2 to 3 hours a day where you have some sort of physical activity.

[you], stop poking around and get to the point

I go to gym (but just once a week since school is taking all my time, dammit). There are also super-hot guys it sports gear so there is much to look at  :cheesy2:
When I don't have much time to go to gym I do some sit-ups at home. I stand in the bus instead of sitting and I am using stairs instead of the elevator. One more thing could be added - eat more vegetables/fruit, that will give you more healthy stuff your body needs and you don't gain weight.

                    Agree 100%

Until recently I also suffered from lack of visible muscles  ;D  And, due to a problem with my stomac last spring, I lost 7 kg in 4 days (just imagine how i looked), and since then i couldn't gain weight again.
I was doing some exercises at home (push-ups, pull-ups etc.), and it helps, but not that much really. Now it's almost 2 months since i started to go to the swimming pool and the the results are clearly visible. So this is tested on my skin, recomend you should try it too.

I also like the idea about walking instead of taking the transport, or walking on the stairs instead of taking the elevator. These may seem as really nonimoprtant things, but if done regularly, it might help also.

                    Good luck!  😉

lol! larger people are always the funnier ones.

to the skinny kid, it's hard to put on muscle without pumping iron. it's also important to eat plenty of lean protein.

I've swam for 13 years, basically I could say it's the best workout ever! Now, the only downside is that swimming does not help building your bone structure… it's lifting weights that does the trick for the body.

I go to the gym 6 times a week, eat as healthy as I can, I follow my own routine, lots of abs, Tae-Box (super intense classes), some yoga twice a week, no fast food more than the one made from my Mom, who's an Int'l Chef so it's all good. She knows about nutrition and helps me big time... Gotta eat at least 5 times a day, 6 being the best you could go for. Also, you should never mix carbs, just one carb per meal.

Anyway, I could on and on xDD
