Who Are The Most Shaved Gay Or Straight?

I think it's a tie. Even macho military dudes are shaving it all off. When I was in the army, any one doing this would have been assumed to have crabs! Or a "fag"! Funny how trendy everyone is. I think shave chest can be sexy, though hair is sexy too. I like a dude with pubes. I recently stayed at the NYC "Y" for a few days. Most of the europeans there, in the showers, where shaved as well. So, not just an American thing. (Though as many, the trend probably started in L.A.!)

Talking from France, with very limited statistics (Based on my brother and I), apparently straight shave more than gay
But yeah personally I don't shave anything, I find it easier and like guys who are natural too. If you look at porn I could get the impression it's far from the norm though. I watch quite a lot of straight porn and the difference there is not in terms of straight more than gay. It just depends on the actor and type of movies.

In America, i would say gay men. The Straight men i know are not really too concerned with their looks, but the gay men i know are.

From my experience, I always thought that gay men shaved more. I always have seen straight men having more hair shown.

From porn, I had always assumed that straight men shave more. I guess I am a little biased though, I like hairy guys so that is all I ever look up

I don't think using porn stars is a fair way to measure this.
It's hard to say, but I honestly believe the body hair preference is not at related to sexuality. I think it really depends on the persons preference just how some people like certain colors over other colors.

I agree with this. Consider what would happen if we assumed the penis sizes we typically see in porn were the average for everyone… We'd be sorely disappointed when we discovered the truth!
Most men that I know, gay or straight, don't trim their body hair at all, except their pubes, which most seem to only trim-- no full shaving. There are only two exceptions, one of whom is a swimmer that had laser hair removal surgery for performance reasons, and not because he thought it made him look better, and the other who is convinced that at 31 he can still be a twink by waxing his entire body. Both are gay.
I've never met a straight guy in real life that shaved, waxed or did anything about his body hair. I can only conclude that gay men are probably more likely to do it, because it's not exactly seen as "manly" to get a wax job done.

who said women like shaved pubes? i think it is very rare that a woman wants a completely shaved pubes.
that's first of all, and second of all i'm gay and i think pubes are disgusting and i wouldn't give someone a blowjob if the guy was hairy
i think it is so untidy and messy and that is just a turn off for me.i don't think it is a sexuality thing…

It looks to me that shaving is based on activities and who you associate with. I am a hairy dude, and most of my friends are hairy as well (straight or gay doesn't really matter). From the straight perspective, most of the smooth straight guys are usually some type of athlete that has been in the routine for years. Again, most of the guys I know that were on football, wrestling, swimming, baseball (don;t get that one) tend to be smooth. Originally for the sport, and now have kept it up due to it feeling normal and in their opinion looking better.

Going by the guys in my gym, I'd say I see more straight men shaved than gay men.

Living in Greece myself, it is really rare to see shaved men. but it is definitely the straight men who are shaving in Greece

I'd say a majority of the straight guys I know shaved everything until they were in their mid to late 20s; around that time a few of the twinkier athletes let themselves gracefully transition to otter and a few even bear'd up. Most gay guys I know trim if anything.
