      Hi
I uploaded my first Torrent earlier today using QTM. All went well, it appeared on the list of Torrents(Fetish) and in my Utorrent 3.2.1. as status- seeding.
Then reading the various Torrent help files I thought that I had to download my own torrent first before other people could download the torrent. So I deleted the entry form my Utorrent and downloaded the torrent file from the website. It is now back in my Utorrent with status downloading but no data is either downloading or uploading. The torrent also disapeared from the main Fetish torrent page. Do I need to ask for the torrent to be removedand start all over again.
      Any help would be appreciated
      Thanks
      Peter

PS.Should I have received a PM advising that my upload was OK?

Actually one advantage of QTM, coupled with µTorrent, is that it automates the uploading then re-downloading of the .torrent file (the torrent). So everything went well initially.

The steps you tried are needed for non QTM users. In addition, you had the common misunderstanding that re-downloading the "torrent" means to download the movie. What is needed to download is the small .torrent file, which gets the personal secrete passkey inserted. When adding that .torrent file to µTorrent, the download needs to be directed to the folder containing the data  (movie) from which the torrent was created. If that directing is missed, µTorrent won't find the data and tries to download them.

Try these steps in µTorrent/BitTorrent to change from downloading to seeding:

1/ Stop the torrent (do NOT remove)
2/ Click with the right mouse button on the torrent in µTorrent's list and select "Advanced" > "Set Download Location…" > navigate to the folder containing the data and confirm (Save or Select Folder)
3/ Right mouse button click on the torrent in µTorrent's list and select "Force re-check". The torrent should check to 100% and µTorrent displaying "Finished" instead of "Stopped" in the status column.
4/ Restart the torrent, it shall go to "Seeding" or at least to "Queued seeding"

Many thanks Popper for your speedy reply.
I have done as you instructed and Utorrent status is back to "seeding".
          Thanks again,
          Peter
