Many Leechers but rarely seeding from my (Transmission (Mac)) torrent???

Nope.
Would not be sure which client to start with. Thought Transmission was a pretty common/popular Mac app sooooo???

µTorrent Mac v1.8.1 is working fine for me.
I'd try µTorrent or qBitTorrrent, Vuze has issues.
I haven't used Transmission in quite a while, but maybe it's a setting that's causing your problem?

I will keep µTorrent Mac in mind as that has been recommended…. Thanks guys.
I posted about Transmission on GT.net (now gay-lounge.net) and all agreed that Transmission was a decent choice for Mac. One mod there is a member here and kinda agrees with me in that you have to hit new uploads with big seeders and hope to get a decent bonus point by seeding long term etc etc...
I may have to try uploading when I get some time and energy.

In my opinion it is because the torrent you currently seed got only 2 (!) real leecher. The others have downloaded only the movie file, but not the picture files. Therefore they appear still as leecher, though in reality, they seed the movie file.

That is very interesting … I guess that is only for Mods to see... so thanks Uwe :bighug: doesnt make me feel so terrible about not getting those leechers now.
About qBittorrent…
… not sure if I should start another post or not...
Was wondering if I was to do a test of qBittorrent just for a single seeding/leeching here - is it OK to run two clients at the same time? Transmisson as my regular one with the other sites and qBittorrent just for here as a test or would things get confusing (or is that a stupid question and is it just a matter of keeping stuff separated by folders?).
Just wondering as a test - but now maybe I really know the answer after Uwes' detective work :clap2:

This is something I've noticed as well with transmission. It downloads pretty well from this site but as soon as I complete downloading, all the other leechers disappear and I end up seeding to very few ever if there are 20+. The other thing I've noticed is that it is particular to this site, especially now that it is .ru. Other sites that I'm a member of don't seem to have this issue.
Luckily my ratio is quite good and as I pick and chose what I download, it stays that way, however it does mean that I think hard before d/loading from this site as if I downloaded everything I wanted, my ratio would be crap in no time.

I just checked another site where I have one flick I have been seeding for months. Currently there are 40 seeders and 1 person leeching who I am connecting with! This is going on daily… with one person leeching and me connecting! Just with this one flick I have a ratio of 10.2 with Transmission! *with a total of over 5000 downloads!
Yes, that site is much larger than this but I am also a member of a smaller site and have a very healthy ratio there.
I have been a member of this site for a long time and would like to try to find out why there is this issue only here with Transmission... I dont think it is any setting, as I say I am getting great ratios on all other sites so???

Something else I've recently noticed is that there are times I am seeding but the site doesn't register that I'm doing so.
A couple of days ago, I left my comp on all day. When I came back the site didn't register that I was seeding at all. I had to shut everything down and start up again before it registered. Even as type the site registers that I have 1 upload when there are in fact 6. I wonder if this is related to the slow page loading issues which I am also experiencing?

...since the freeleeching thing it doesnt seem to matter much. one can dl a freebie and move on... no one cares. I dont care anymore, tbh! would have liked to figured it all out but tbh, it is just gay porn that one can get in a million other places and this site doesnt really build a community so much, maybe it is just me and ranting, maybe not.
I wanted to feel a community here but people dont even say hi, or give points, or thanks - whatever...
Lets see how this plays out.

Yesterday between about 03:00 CET (UTC+2) and 18:00 CET, the tracker could not update the site correctly. The tracker continued to count Upload and Download correctly so there no user lost anything. however the site not having the Seeder/Leecher correct could not attribute SBP correctly. Some members will not have got SBP while seeding, others will have got them while having stopped seeding all already.
That issue was side effect of page loading time optimizations ongoing and has been corrected. There are other related topics specific to that issue in the Forum, for example there > https://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=19181.0
Regarding the ability to download freeleech torrents with taken download rights, something we did to give those user an easier way out of the low ratio warning, we had to remove it. That loophole did unfortunately lead people to what you said, continue downloading without care to share back. As for the difficulties to upload data here compared to other sites, there are reasons for it, which I can only repeat:
- Ratio controlled tracker > more seeders
- Small membership > less leecher
- Scrape support switched off > torrent clients might prefer torrents from other sites and/or careful priority option settings
