I have a very naive question, namely, what is the best way for me to search the available torrents when I'm unsure of the studio, models, and other identifying matter of the files I wish to include?

For example, is there any way I can search available torrents on GAYtorrents.ru to check to see if a particular filename is already included in some uploaded torrent?  Is there a way that I can take the SHA-1 hash of a file and check to see if it's already included somewhere?

I recognize the need to avoid duplicating other torrents, but cannot see a good way of verifying that I'm not contributing something new short of knowing the exact title and studio of a film, or the names of the models featured, and even then, it's rather difficult without going through a large list and inspecting screenshots.

Can anyone offer me some guidance for searching before I try to upload a torrent of my own?

Hash searches could be handy for sure. 🙂

You might try sorting the torrent list by size and match up the file size and look in that region of the torrent list.
"Sort by" -> in the pull-down menu.
Maybe run another search on 1 or 2 of the keywords in the file name as well.

It should be easy to find if your file(s) are either rather large or small. You can edit the end of the url to jump to the mid-section of the torrent list or wherever else you need to be if the necessary page isn't linked to on the search page immediately.
