These work with Image Grabber II, if you have installed a media splitter and codec to play such files or got Windows 7. I guess you have installed such, if not install Haali Media Splitter to open the .mov, .mp4, .mkv files and ffdshow MPEG-4 (or tryouts SVN built) which adds tons of decoding support.
The trick is that Image Grabber II doesn't know these .mov and .mkv extensions to be AV files (certainly because of it's age and no longer supported), but you can select "show all files" or "." as browsing option bottom right of its window.

There is only one thing.
I don't know if that would be too much work for the moderators but I wonder if it makes sense to award the points immediately at approval time.
This uploader (I assume it's the same in all three cases because the uploads are formatted in a similar way) does very well and gets rewarded for uploads meeting most criteria BUT there seem to be problems with his files!
Of course you guys cannot check the quality of the file at approval but waiting 24 hours before awarding the points gives you the opportunity to see the complaints in the comments section.

dont understand this. i can play the scenes fine- just when i open the image grabber it errors or doesnt even show the thumbnails in the file for the mp4 or others- (looks empty)

all this info was NOT on any one page or site. i looked up each movie by title after figuring it out by who the scene partner was (also researched not on the site) and found all 8 and then gave the breakdown for each movie and compiled them. gave the title and item number for each film the clip was taken from. doesnt matter. Like I stated in an earlier post, I think what started out as a good intention has become an overly thought and bloated and instead of leading to rewarding, it's leading some to feel like they're being punished for what they feel is hard work, but "not hard enough" according to others.
Do some people care about the codec? I'm sure some do. I don't. I'm not sure a lot of people do.
Care about alt-title? Maybe some do. Not sure may, though.
How about:
Is the title correct? Yay. Is it in all upper and lower case letters, capitalized correctly? I don't care.
Is the box cover included? Yay. Additional pictures? Yay. If not, I'm not gonna lose sleep.
Is there a url included for further info? Yay! If not, that's why I always have a tlavideo and aebn.net window open. I'm capable of searching for myself.
Are there a few tags included? Yay! If not, again, tlavideo and aebn.net.
For me, that's all I need to make a decision of whether or not I want to download.
The size of the pictures? Not a problem.
Bit rate? Huh?

Of course the criteria listed are chosen with a personal target of what makes a good description, and the one here discussed is a good IMHO (and got 19 points !), but still each point is objectively verifiable.
Please all notice this has been from the beginning a trial and to put emphasis on it, the word trail is no put in bold size 4 letters in the opening post. It was always there. It is not meant to be definitive or ultimate. It is subject to changes during the trial.
This trial in live permits to test and fine-tune that list and the details of the criteria, as well as their formulations.
I regret that when asking for help to formulate an objectively verifiable criteria for what a few good pictures mean, no proposal was made. Instead at the next occasion there is complaint that no points were given for (such) pictures …

"- 3 pictures from the movie, clip or picture collection, size at least SD size (576 pixel width, height at least 40% of width) or the resolution of the movie"To note that with the latest adaptation of the criteria this morning, the before discussed torrent upload would have meat 21 points and gotten therefore the 20 max.

I'm not sure to whom your post was directed, Uwe, since you didn't quote any post. My point isn't to argue with you. In fact, I do applaud your efforts to respond to the point that people feel an uploader should be rewarded for efforts in addition to what they end up seeding to leeches. My main point is, "what do members really consider to be important factors in deciding to download a torrent?"
Maybe my tastes are simple. As I stated in the post above, all I really care about are an accurate title, a few pictures to tell me if the guys/scenes are hot enough, and some tags for whichever kinks appeal to me.
Anyway, like I said, I do applaud your efforts to respond to members' wanting rewards for their efforts.

At the risk of sounding snarky, at this point, I'm thankful for being my auto-approval status. No expectations...no disappointment.Expectation is the issue. If points are offered, it seems it is expected to get 100% of them for 120% of work, but 95% of result.
Some items in the list are driven by what is expected me as Moderator to help on approval:
- Alternative studio / titles
- Clip identifying picture
- Clip / Series numbers
- Studio name
- No QTM periods
- Comprehensive file names
All this help searching and as such will help members to search and find what they are looking for, respectively to have as much as possible information to search on the web more information about it.
As said early, the two tags items are there to get more uploads tagged, because without having the torrents in the existing library of torrents tagged, a transfer to a better system of tags once programmed will have less use. Only if torrents are tagged, a search by tags will be powerful. Without the torrents be tagged, it is dead.
In case it interest, my own uploads would get about 16 points following that list and they make me a lot of work.

I would gladly rate and reward uploaders like I used to. However, due to the latest development at GT.ru (hiding uploader's username) you will never see me giving any seed bonus to some anonymous people, who might not even need it or deserve it.

Why do you need to know an uploader's username in order to determine if some upload deserves a reward?

That's an easy one. For example he would never give me any point for any upload because I innocently admitted here that I have a crush on Sean from Corbin Fisher. For that I received a thumbs down and a sad face!!
