I recall the book "The Joy of Sex" (ISBN 1400046149) being left on our family room table when I was in the US grade 9 or 10 or so. This was after I came out to myself and a few friends but not my parents. That book seemed particularly homophobic/anti-gay.
I do recall a wonderful line drawing picture on a page – I believe it was under the category of depression -- showing two men with one leaning on the other's shoulder. Being quite young at the time and not having much experience or good, positive images for my discomfort and self-esteem, I still recall that art. [Gemütlichkeit.]
I never read the "The Joy of Gay Sex" book. I am glad NC cum-eater posted this 3rd-party download link. I encourage any member to make this available as a torrent here in the recently-added "Books & Magazines" category for everyone.

Did you know you were gay at 11? Or were you just curious and flipped through the pages? I was about 11 or 12yo when I discovered I was attracted to guys as well as girls.

I had a similar experience with the book 'Everything You Always Wanted to Know About Sex (but were afraid to ask.)' by He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named. The only references to homosexuality are a few passages describing (in detail- I wonder how much 'research' went into this book, haha) cruising rituals in bathrooms and gloryholes, and the simple dismissal that gay men are lonely and self-destructive. It was quite damaging to me because I was SOOOO turned on by the description of the mating practice, and then crushed to read the rest of the entry.
As for your suggestion to upload- I will wait a few days to see if any member who is new to uploading might want to make this available for raising ratio/bonus points. If nobody does so by Wednesday or so, I'll upload it.
