To me, the definition of a man is masculinity and some hair.  I can understand shaving your upper half to show off your muscle and the hard work you've put in to develop them.  But I don't understand the need or trend of "men" shaving off their pubes or worse, shaping and grooming their pubes.  Most men aren't that over concerned with their looks.  Even when I was young enough to be a twink, it was men I was looking at or at least the older more developed guys in the locker room.  Outside of looks, what turns me on and is a deciding factor in the difference between men and a guy with balls and a penis, is self confidence.  Confident men are a real turn on, straight or gay or whatever!

Obviously everyone can prefer what they want, but the essence of manliness, at least in high school, was when your legs, underarms, cock, etc. developed hair.  Perhaps this affected me more since (a) I was a late bloomer and (b) I never had a lot of hair.

So… for myself, I crave hairy legs and chests, underarms, beards etc. but I draw the line at hairy shoulders and excessively hairy backs.  (some is ok)

I have dated all kinds of guys though so ultimately kindness and personality are much more important than hair!  :laugh:
